Lost Queen : As they should! My people were the most superior of all evil dragons afterall~
I’ve mentioned it before, but quite honestly, that could be a possibility. Mind you, breeding with other species was rarely permitted. If it happened at all, it was through marriage contracts with allies to provide a physical representation of our alliance by allowing other evil species breed with our own. Those marriages ONLY happened among high ranking Kuros, such as Warlords, Royal Scribes & Generals, etc.
This had mixed results. Most Kuros couldn’t breed with other species; they had more of a chance of producing offspring if they were another breed of dragon. Some Kuros were more fertile than others, and were able to provide cross-species offspring, but it was rare. Most believed that if the Gods were pleased by the alliance, they would show that by allowing a Kuros to cross-breed (if breeding was required for full alliance agreements).
In my opinion, I didn’t believe that. I loved my Gods, but I firmly believed Kuros could only breed with other dragons, if that. I realized it happened, albeit rarely, as like I said some were able somehow, but I thought it was by chance rather than proof of our Gods approving of a marriage alliance.
So, imagine my surprise when I fell pregnant with Havok. After I had not one hybrid offspring, but two, I think that cross-breeding was more of a possibility than I once believed. I still don’t think it’s a God’s blessing, afterall our Gods still sleep, but if a Kuros could breed with a human, anything is possible.
