Were Queen Athrenna and King Burdohk killed at the same time? if not and King Burdohk died first then does that mean Kurogh killed Athrenna in the rights tournament to gain the title of King? Or did he fight and kill Burdohk for that?

Lost Queen : No, Athrenna lead the city by herself for many years after Burdohk fell in battle. Right after Burdohk was killed however, Kurogh immediately challenged Athrenna to be King. But, she beat him every time. She saw something in him that I guess I didn’t see until it was too late. She fought with every fiber of her being to keep him from becoming King, often declaring him unworthy of ever becoming so. 

Unfortunately, she finally did die in battle, and out of the tournaments to decide the new leaders Kurogh got his wish. However, no female seemed to be able to defeat him, until I challenged him.
