Well, don’t be too concerned about it being a “children’s book” even though it says so. Let’s just say it does have some violent moments, like one poor dragon getting half it’s face melted by acid. I won’t say who cause it’s a major character. So yeah. :P

Oh no, that’s why i put ‘ marks around ‘children’s books’. I wasn’t doubting that they’re not adult enough or anything. I used to read Warriors as a kid, and I STILL remember how gory Tigerstar’s death was O-O’’’ or just how violent and real those books could get. That’s why I tried reading the Owl’s of Ga’hoole books, thinking that even tho they’re kid books they’d still be great, buuuut I couldn’t do it. I’m mostly saying that’s the main reason why I didn’t bat an eye at Wings of Fire at first, last I tried I got disappointed so I wasn’t willing to throw money at another book I was unsure of.

A lot of people I trust have told me otherwise, and maybe one day I’ll pick them up, but other than people saying they’re good I’ve had little urge to try them. BUT, I haven’t been up to reading like, at all so that’s not a diss at the series. I’ve been a bit curious to read Eragon again just because I follow Paolini on Twitter and I got the bug to re-read the books again.
