How do elements work for the Kuros. In TLoS, dragons could only have one element, and the Purple Dragons could use multiple elements. But Athrenna has water, but also wind, so how does this work? What are the Main Elements, and how can they cross or not? Just, how do the elements work?

I’ll start off by saying firstly, I’m leaning more and more away from the lore of TLoS. This blog still is a mix of Skylander/TLoS and original lore, but I don’t strictly adhere to the ‘rules’ of either Skylanders and TLoS. I’m suuuuper loosey goosey with it lol

I answered an ask like this about a year ago, but I’ll post what I said here instead of linking it;

“They can have a main element and by products of other elements. As long as one element is more prominent and the second is not as strong or is possibly related to the main element (Fire + wind to make fire tornadoes, water + fire for heated water breath, etc.)

I personally do like the idea of the Kuros being able to have two elements like that, wether they’re Skylander lore based, LoS lore based, or Original. Of course no dragon can master all elements except for the purple dragons (lore of this would of course change if original and not linked to spyro lore at all), but I think the two element thing could be a possibility. Probably not super common and again with one element being dominant over the other.”

Basically, not every Kuros has two elements. The ones that do, the main element is the primary and strongest one. The minor element is mostly used to aide the main and isn’t as strong.

Athrenna for example uses wind to aide in flight if she needs a little boost, but she can’t harness wind like a primary elemental would. It’s like her pocket sand ability ahaha

I hope that clears things up!
