Usually, the amount of Kuronium in their bone structure. Like the Yoldahr, despite being ridiculously smart yet savage Kuros looking wyverns, the only parts of them that have Kuronium are their teeth. Or Kirin, that have Kuronium bone structures mixed with Umbracorn bones but not a full skeleton 8D
