Fan Kuros Question. I’ve seen some Fan Kuros that have colored markings, but no black markings, being put down a Allus. But officially Allus have “distinctive jet black markings.” So can an Allus lack these markings in canon, or are the Fan Kuros altering the rules?

OOC : People can do what they want. I have no actual ‘rules’ for colored markings, except that I think I answered an ask saying YEAH DO IT IT’LL LOOK SO NEAT. I want people to take what I’ve made and have fun, that’s the most rewarding thing I find about fankuros. I have so many AUs that there’s no real ‘canon’, and the way I see it, each fankuros has their own AU where they exist with whatever ‘canon’ I have, like how I have separate AUs with A7XSparx and LizzyDizzyDoodle. 

The thing I want the most out of fankuros is for people to have fun, to enjoy expressing themselves, to make something they’re proud of. If they want their kurobab to have colored markings, GO FOR IT YO! Weirdie is proud and humbled none-the-less. I will love your kurobabi and feel so honored you spent time on it ❤ 

Yeah I have some rules and they’re broken from time to time, but when I see something that isn’t ‘right’, usually my first thought is “OOO I wonder how this would effect the plot their in” instead of ‘NONONO YOU GOT IT WRONG NOPE”. I’m more laid back about this stuff than you think, maybe that’s a good thing maybe not I have no idea. 

OOC : Bash was one of the first Skylanders that I showed a ton of interest in. He looked really badass for a kid’s game! He was a bit tough to find so when I finally got my legendary series 1 Bash I was SO excited to finally have this awesome looking dino-dragon guy.

Then I heard him speak. I was almost dumbfounded that they gave him such a terrible voice. I was expecting freakn’ Terrador-like voice to come out of this guy, but NOPE dumb rock dude. That did make me stop liking him, but I could never shake off how awesomely he was designed. I still wanted his series 2 toy, and I still love Bop since the pipsqueak voice is so much easier to tolerate x,D

But for Weirdlanders, damn skippy he’s a bit different! I’ve always liked his canon backstory, so the only things that really change are bits of his personality and of course his preferred voice actor.

  • Bash’s backstory is fairly the same, only he was born a rock dragon. It was unusual for his kind to be wingless.
  • Bash is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, voice of Terrador in LoS
  • Bash did wish for Flashwing, and did fall in love with her. However he is nowhere near as creepy or mopey about it as his canon counterpart. He holds a soft spot for her, but many of his friends have helped him to see that she was not his type. However he still holds out the hope that she will one day give him a chance.
  • The way Bash speaks is slow, calculated, and incredibly intimidating. But he’s very friendly and playful despite his almost villainous appearance.
  • Bash is one of the few Skylanders who can withstand direct blows from the Lost Queen and Havok. His hide is thick enough to take some hits, not all, but most. He is also known for rolling himself up and launching himself into Havok’s gut to stun him through his Kuronium armor. Bash shows little fear when fighting the Kaos Family and like Warnado will take them on head to head without a second thought.

why are Volga’s horns so metallic looking?

OOC : Because I designed her before solidifying the Kuros, let alone their family line 😀 Originally, Leona was Feuriah’s canon mother, and the reason Feuriah was born a Kuros was because somewhere in the family line there was a Kurosian ancestor. But that idea was scrapped after some time, and Volga’s design had won my heart too much to take the metal bits out.

But I am thinking of ways to edit her. Her design is mostly staying, and I have a few ideas of how to explain that her horns aren’t Kuronium. A part of me wants to say that Kuros aren’t the only dragons with metal bones, full skeleton or not, but the metal isn’t as strong as Kuronium. I haven’t fully settled on an idea just yet though.

Are the dragons of Warfang racist towards the Kuros race or what?

OOC : Lmfao pretty much! That’s basically how a LOT of species view Kuros; they fear them as they are the pinnacle of darkness. They are known for completely wiping out villages, children and all, of both those of peace and evil. The only other species they commune with somewhat peacefully are other dark ones that wish to ally themselves with the Kuros, so more peaceful species make them out to be boogeymen and demons. There’s tons of fairytales and myths passed around about them, some true some not.

In FD, Warfang’s fear of Kuros was boosted tenfold when Malefor was banished and joined the Kuros; giving him the most feared army behind him. They already made Kuros out to be savages that would attack them for little to no reason; which actually isn’t true. Kuros wipe out cities that are a threat AND that challenge them, or if one of their own was attacked by that city. Though with Malefor at the helm, it’s highly likely they would attack. And Feuriah’s born shortly after news of Malefor’s joining with the Kuros 8)

Mun, which Skylander from each element, from each game would you say we’re your best ones?

OOC : Oh man, that would take forever to really get into D: especially since I never actually finished Giants out of sheer frustration and distaste. But I can just list the skylanders I actually use the most in each element! I love a ton of skylanders but sadly some of my favorites don’t mend well with my playing style ;3;

Life – Camo (husband’s #1 choice) and Bush Whack (tho I don’t have him anymore, he has a new home with @magic-retina​!)
Magic – Spyro & Spry
Earth – Flashwing, Jade Flashwing, Bop
Fire – Trail Blazer, Torch, Dark Spitfire (Kurt LOVES him, used him the most x,D ) and Sunburn
Tech – Actually my husband plays the tech ones xD I haven’t really latched onto a tech elemental, I like a few but I almost never use them. He LOVES Drobot, Drobit and Chopper, which are all fully leveled up because of him.
Undead – Grim Creeper, Cynder, Krypt King
Water – Echo, Wash Buckler (and Dark Wash Buckler), Punk Shock
Air – Pop Thorn, Scratch
Dark –  Knightmare & Blackout. Probably my favorite element, as much as I naturally like fire for pokemon, for Skylanders I lean more toward Dark xD I haven’t played as Nightfall as much but I freakn’ LOVE HER.
Light – Knight Light, I actually don’t use Spotlight that much even tho her figure is one of my favorites D: Love me that angel man ❤

Though I’m a lil late for the hype, I thought I’d make a Kuros as well. c: I hope you like him.

Species: Kurosian Dragon

Element: Lightning and wind (though wind is rarely used)

Role: Early retired soldier due to injury

Physical appearance
Furio is bulky and muscular. Being a Brokt, it’s to be expected, but he does train everyday in order to stay in shape.
His headcrest/fins are movable and react to his emotions. When calm and sad, the fin with hang low, almost flat against his neck. When feeling joy, anger or curiousity, the fin stands up, stretching the membrane to its fullest.

Short backstory
Furio was part of an army of soldiers, mixed of different dragon races, who fought against evil-doers to protect their village. The soldiers always fended off the intruders and kept the village safe, til Malefor’s goons attacked. They were stronger than the soldiers thought and where forced to flee and leave the village, though Furio got cocky from all their victories and were sure he could take them. A mistake he had to pay for.
In the fight with the apes, his wings got injured so badly, they went limb and refused to move, when he tried to flee by flight. He ended up having to outrun the apes, as to not pay with his life instead.
He found his way back to his villagefolks and had a druid look at his wings. Sadly, they were not savable. Furio told the druid to just get rid of him. What use were the wings, if they were to never take flight nor even move ever again.
Though it was a painful operation to go through, he got them removed. Forever stained with the scars on his back. Shortly after, he decided to retire from the army. He saw no use for him in it or the village anymore and left.
