I’ve a question! Were there any halfbreed Kuros in the Kurosia or were they executed as well of their parents? Also, were their any Kuros who was bipedal?

OOC : For the hybrid question, they’d most likely be banished, making them ‘non-kuros’ in the Kurosian’s eyes. Most likely however, they’d be hunted down shortly after banishment by other Kuros. For training purposes, for game, many reasons. But most wouldn’t want the shame of the Kurosian people to keep walking around.

PS – Also, YES. Some kuros could be bipedal. I don’t have a separate breed for em or anything. 

Cynder : There’s a large snowy forest behind the city, outside from the Veil, from what my mother told me. There used to be a lot of Uka that would stalk the area, but if we went in a group with other Skylanders, I doubt they’d bother us.

Weirdie Update~

Again, apologies on the lack of art! Yee, I fallen hard for Undertale, but before Thursday I was working on a few of the larger asks for posting. The husband and I left Thursday to visit family, and I figured I’d have time to doodle to myself and whatnot. Buuut… some unexpected things got in the way.

Unfortunately, we arrived in Canada to some awful family drama. I won’t really go into detail about it, but in short it made our original place to stay incredibly unsafe. It’s going to be a pretty bumpy Christmas for us, but we’ll make do ^u^

On night one of this stay, I accidentally bumped my Mac on the ground. Not a full drop, as I was able to catch it in time so it just bumped (a blanket was also a cushion), but after my mac stopped charging. Not sure if it’s the charger crapping out, or if that little bump knocked something lose (seriously, f*ck macbooks). I had enough juice in that thing to upload my commission files onto my dropbox, scream about it briefly on my personal tumblr, but nothing else. 

Sadly, that means the asks I was working on are inaccessible. I ordered a new charger just in case, but if the charger wasn’t the problem, that mac might be down for the count. Yeah, it’s probably fixable, but I refuse to spend a bunch of money on that thing anymore x,D 

I have a lovely PC at home that I’m currently working on setting up as my main. It has photoshop and my brushes already loaded on it, but I was dragging my feet to upload all my art folders, textures, texts, etc. onto it. Also have to change hotkeys, and pretty much get used to working with the PC. I’ve owned a mac so long it’s poisoned my mind to better computers *sniffles*

No worries about the family drama though! Things will eventually work themselves out. Coming from a broken family myself, it’s a thing I’m just used to, but it’s never fun to see it happen to another person. Especially my husband, I kinda like that guy. Even if it’s going to be a bumpy christmas for us, we’re very happy to spend it with each other.

So, Feuriah, what was your perspective on what happened during the events of “Skylanders: Superchargers”?

OOC : Currently, I’m still kind of at a loss at how to incorporate Superchargers with Weirdlanders @n@’

BELOW I WILL BE DISCUSSING SPOILERS!!! So if you don’t want Superchargers spoiled, don’t read below this!

I have ideas, but the issues that I’m having mostly come down to Kaos’ character development, and how he’s changed so much in Weirdlanders compared to his canon self.

Of course in canon, Kaos doesn’t have a family and is still very much selfish (granted he DOES get a bit more development at the end of the game, but nothing like how he does in Weirdlanders). In Weirdlanders, he’s still more selfish than he should be, but after the events of Trap Team he’s gotten far more attached and protective of his family.

The whole thing with Weirdlander’s take on Trap Team is that Kaos, having been a family man for almost 20 years, wants to feel independence again like he used to. Him and Havok had been fighting due to Kaos’ jealousy of his own son’s appearance and capability, and things with Feuriah start to get on edge with him. So taking a break from homelife to seek out a plan all on his own, things of course backfire. Not only did his plan fail, but Feuriah is captured, Havok’s tail is cut off and Hysteria goes missing. When Wolfgang kidnaps him to use him as a time machine, Wolfgang thinks Havok died, therefor he rubs it in Kaos’ face. Due to that, and eventually seeing his son so ill due to his mistakes, Kaos grows as a character to realize that his actions had a devastating impact on his family. He grows to care less about himself and more about them.

For Superchargers, which for Weirdlanders would take place around 5 years later, Kaos would work closely with not only his family but the Doom Raiders that allied themselves with them. Since Kaos’ escape is different in WL (just going to say that instead of Weirdlanders from here xD), how he gets the sliver of Darkness is different, but I think they get ahold of it somehow, and the whole opening to Superchargers is the same. Only with Feur as Kaos’ Queen (still too stubborn to call herself an Empress), and the kids as important figureheads in ruling their new kingdom.

However the whole concept Superchargers has with The Darkness is where I run into issues. The Lost Queen knows Darkness is not sentient, it does not speak. That is why there are dark creatures born from it to be the sentient distributors. So the moment the Darkness would start talking, Feur would be onto him in a heartbeat. She’d know exactly what he REALLY is, and cut things off. The Darkness isn’t exactly what he claimed to be; rather, he’s nothing but a Parasite. In order to prevent the Queen from catching onto him, he would have to be sneaky with Kaos, talking only to him in order to convince him that if he works with him in secret, he could surprise his family with even more greatness. I think that’s where the conflict would be with Kaos; where he thinks he’s doing what’s best for his own family rather than just himself.

Still, with the involvement of the WL characters, a LOT would be different between the stories. Glumshanks would’ve not been fired, the Queen would never okay such a thing, though if anything, Kaos COULD ‘send him away on vacation’ if Glumshanks threatened to tell the Queen about The Darkness (in fear that Kaos is being tricked). Lastly, Kaos’ powers wouldn’t have been effected by this being, with the Darkness actually being a parasite and not the real darkness.

At least, this could change, but nothing’s really set in stone when it comes with Superchargers. As much as I enjoyed the game, it does pose quite a dosey when trying to incorporate it with WL xD That’s always an issue when making fan characters and stuff, no matter what you do, their involvement changes a LOT and in the end Superchargers won’t mesh as well with WL as Trap Team did. We’ll see, though! Eventually I’ll get around to it, but for now, I have PLENTY of other plots to tie up 8D
