This one’s for mod :3 just wondering if you’ve ever played any dark souls games? And if so are you excited for dark souls 3?

OOC : OOooooooh no, not me personally, HOWEVER my husband has played Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and Bloodborne. He’s hella obsessed with them, and he’s beyond excited for 3 x,D They aren’t really my type of games, but I do love watching when he plays. The environments are very inspirational for Kurosia and the mountains surrounding it, and the bosses are just amazing ;u; Sif still breaks my heart though, my husband hates fighting Sif because of the limping away thing ;3;

The Duke’s Dear Freja is actually a character that shows up on the blog from time to time xD she just kinda hangs out at the castle and has an unhealthy obsession with Flameslinger 8D

Can Yehkshire control what element their young get, or influence it? Because Feuriah’s element seems VERY different from that of her immediate family, so I was wondering if it came from the influence of her mother?

OOC : Not really, there’s a handful of Yehkshire for every element. The abilities OF the element can change, like how a fire elemental can breathe lava or fire, what color fire, etc. That tends to depend on the type of male they pick to breed with. The male doesn’t have to be the same type, they simply look for strong/powerful males to prey on.

There are more elemental Yehkshire than the Skylander elements, as there’s few Yehkshire for Ice, Water, Wind, etc. Pretty much following Legend elements. Though there’s no Yehkshire for Dark since… well, they’re all dark versions OF the elements xD

As for Feuriah’s mommy, there’s two possibilities. I may or may not reveal much about her, like Acerbus being her father it wasn’t something I ever really planned on revealing. But I may 8D

Can kurosian dragons be born from non-kurosian dragons? Like could it be a sudden pop-up of that bloodline after being dormant, or does there have to be a close kurosian blood relative, like a grandmother or something? I love the idea of a “stain” on a pure bloodline, that leaves the child seen as a monster…but I feel like maybe Feuriah had that happen?

OOC: YEP, that’s totally possible. It can happen after generations, but I feel would happen more closely if it was a great-great-grandparent rather than an ancient ancestor. But I’m not going to say that can’t happen either ;D

While kuros didn’t support romantic love that much, did they at least support family love to an extent?

OOC : The love that the Kuros did support, was the love of thy own people. Pretty much, you cared only for your kind first, allies second. Family love was common, or at least pride in family lines. Kuros wove tapestries and clothing with their bloodlines embedded in them, or the famous/known relatives, to show pride and to boast. Not every family was loving, take for example Kurogh’s, as honor tended to be first before one earned love. It mostly depends on the Kuros.

Was wondering if you heard that there might be a chance of Insomniac remaking the spyro classics? I just reblogged a tumblr post on it with a petition to sign kind of deal on my own tumblr, so I wanted to let you know in case you havent seen it yet x3 They just need 450 or so more signatures :D

However, I love the IGN article that supports this. Granted, I still think Skylanders is very old Spyro-esque in it’s music, level designs, etc., which I’m so glad Ted Price felt the same way. At least he says so in the little article.

This is the article I peeked at, right here. Doesn’t promise anything, but it’s a fun little read. If anyone wants to sign the petition, I say feel free, buuuut you won’t find me doing so x,D I don’t trust internet petitions personally, unless it’s like, a legit kickstarter like the one for Yooka’Laylee.

It would be really freakn’ cool to have the original three remade, but I’m personally quite happy with Skylanders. I’d much rather see a remake of the Legend trilogy, where the studios are given PROPER timeframes to put as much effort as they can into the games.

Hey it’s Anon from the big question about Feuriah. Thank you for the very in depth answer, I hope I didn’t come off as rude. If you don’t mind me asking another question : for some reason I always get the feeling that Hysteria would be the kind to betray her own family for more power or for her own survival (like executing them to join the Kuros for example). Is it the case or am I completely wrong here ?

OOC : Hello again! Oh no not at all, you didn’t come off as rude to me. Honestly, that was an awesome ask, and very much enjoyed answering it and it gave me the chance to delve into and explain a complex character. So thank you!

As for Hysteria, you’re pretty much right on que; at least, that was what she was originally made to do. 

A few years ago, a7xsparx and I made the Divine Havok AU, where Kaos is thrown into a time portal when Havok was a child which caused a series of events to turn him into a psychopath. The time portal shoots Kaos like 25-30 years into that future and attempts to re-connect with Havok, who had taken control over Skylands, but Havok instead turns on his own father and attempts to kill him. Spyro, Sparx, and a few other Skylanders had gone into the portal to try and bring Kaos back to prevent this future from happening, and they succeed in the end. Kaos returns and to prevent him being afraid of his son, his memory is wiped by a character and he returns a week after he fell into the portal.

Quick little tid bit to note, that I always seem to forget to mention, is that during this AU, I was so bothered by how Kaos was missing a tooth in Swap Force that we had a scene that explains why x,D He and Spyro get into a fist fight after Kaos discovers that Circuit (who, in a7xsparx‘s verse is Spyro’s daughter) was the one that kills Feuriah in that AU. The fact he had an unexplained missing tooth drove me INSANE!!! 

But the reason I explain that, is because since that future didn’t happen, Hysteria was born. When I was first writing her character, she was meant to be a very, very cold creature with an ambition that was even greater than Kaos’. Originally she was going to create a future similar to the Divine Havok AU, and yep, would turn on her own family in order to do that. 

Now, after a year or so of her being on the blog, her character has changed since her creation, which usually happens x,D She’s still very narcissistic and cold, but she has grown attachments to other characters wether she likes to admit it or not. But, there’s no saying that she wouldn’t turn against her own family in due time, if she was given the choice 😉
