Baby Yehks are born with the ability to shapeshift right away, but their natural form is not like their full grown counterparts. They’re roughly the size of a normal horse, with their wings not fully developed but enough to allow them to fly upon hatching. They are able to care for themselves, and are born with the instinct to hide in other, lower forms to camouflage themselves. It can take half a century for a Yehkshir to grow to adulthood, and can live until they’re killed by the Black Swords. They are born with their crowns not yet formed, but their elemental gems grow with them. While they do not seem to have eyelids, they have a translucent set of eyelids that slide over their eyes in a circular motion. Their pupils eventually dull and their eyes turn a deep crimson when they’re full grown. They also sound like this
Although they can fend for themselves when they hatch, the mother will often flee with her Yehkshir egg and leave the others to naturally be spread among Kurosia (it is unsure how this happens. Some are distributed as eggs, others raised by beasts or ‘unknown dragons’ until they happen upon a Kurosian village, etc. There are many more tales of how the offspring of Yehkshir blend into the realm). The mother feels compelled to teach her single egg how to fight/kill/escape from the Black Swords, how to hunt for prey, etc. The mothers only stick around for a short period before they get sick of their daughter’s company, and abandon them. If the daughter doesn’t leave them first.
Olfur’Yehkshir, the bigger, all-mother Yehkshir, are born full grown with a single core element, with all their memories intact. Their eggs emerge deep underground as Mahoura’s own flesh is part of Kurosia; eventually making their way to the surface to once more hunt again.
However with Mahoura asleep, she is unable to give birth to the Olfur. The Yehkshir that remain are far and few, the Black Swords killing them off more and more over the century Mahoura’s been asleep. Soon, the Yehkshir will die out, and the last hope of Kuros returning depends on awakening the Gods again.

With there being unicorns (umbercorns) and other mythical creatures in kurosia, what others do you plan to add?
Oooo! There’s quite a few actually 😀 a lot of them are Kirin/horse hybrids like Kelpies, winged Pegasus like hybrids, and others. But I’ve also REALLY wanted to add Sphinxes too. Griffons, mermaids, faeries, centaurs, elfish like creatures, and much much more. One culture at a time tho 8,D I still need to delve into the enslaved Naga too, as the Kuros have controlled them for so long they’ve been able to manipulate their evolution and create dozens of various types.

How hammy do you like your villians?

Give me villains that do this and I will forever love them

How many Kurosian gods are there? Main ones, like Yahvii or Mahoura.
There aren’t a set number of them, and there are many more that have yet to be made 😀

This may be a dumb question, but How did Shala’s relationship with her mother change from Cipi being pressuring and then disappointed in her, to actually caring for her?
MOD: Cipi losing her mate really opened Cipi’s eyes to how close she’d been to losing her daughter. Some of my characters deal with the loss of a significant other in a bad way, but Cipi isn’t one of those. It takes her and Shala a few years to really feel like they have a healthier relationship, but both are willing to rebuild in the wake of so much loss.
Also, Cipi did care about Shala despite being disappointed in her; she was only disappointed that the life she’d envisioned for her child wasn’t going to pan out the way she wanted.
If Kurogh wasn’t an assbutt, would he and Feuriah loved eachother?
In original lore, Feuriah was able to get through to Kurogh that Malefor was manipulating him. Granted, it was right as the Fall was starting, but Feur was able to fly him and the survivors to safety. He was horribly disfigured, but he was to return with Feuriah during the battle of Warfang (Legend of Spyro tense). Kurogh was humbled, but still very loud and forceful when it came to his people ‘being peaceful’ with other realms.
But as the story changed and the Kuros changed, he became less and less salvageable of a character. A lot like Acerbus, a lot of the troubles caused is caused by himself, but he blames others for his motives.
Acerbus has more of a chance to change than Kurogh does 8,D In the Reignited stuff I’ve been playing with, Kurogh is actually lovesick over her before he went missing. That Queen, however, if just more like him than he was like her other counterparts.

Will Kurogh get a revamped reference sheet? I’m pretty sure you’ve added more onto his story since more people have grown interested? :]
Oh he’s desperately needed an update, and I’ve wanted to re-design aspects of him. But I really should do Feur’s ref first -_-

Omg he’s just an angrier, chubbier Cynder 8,D
Honestly I think Headshot as your tumblr icon is the best, despite being a side character. Probably being biased since I think he’s my favorite out of your Weirdlanders characters, but its hard to see the blog with another character icon. He’s really interesting.
Aw dudes, think you! ;u; It was so surprising that I just, DIDN’T NOTICE, but changing it does feel unnecessary to change it. Thank you so much! I do need to do more with him, he and his village was a fun idea. Need more undead bone lovin’ centaur boy Dx
