OOPS! My fingers slipped!!! Anyhow my most challenging sculpt yet. For whatever reason this one is kicking my arse
aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAH THATS SO AWESOME!!! I wanna try this program out myself so bayd O_O this is so NEATS!
Ahahhaa yeah, and the world I made for Kurosia is fit for them. It’s HUGE, and the Kurosian Mountains are the most unfit places for humans to even wonder. Humans would feel like ants, so instead of thinking of how everything would revolve around human size, I made the world to fit the dragons. Like I said the entirety of the Kurosian mountains are similar to the Rocky Mountains, but the length would also be the width. So pretty much, the Kurosian Mountains would be almost the size of the US in a whole; the mountains be BIG, span into different climates, and made to fit their needs and culture. Kurosia is not made for humans, at. all.
So that’s the thing, don’t think of it as a human-esque city. It’s a city built for giantass dragons. How they move/fly (drop off points and slanted structures), blacksmithing fit to their anatomy and not human anatomy, etc. They also have different species allied with them to help with some things, but the majority of Kurosia is made for dragons.
It’s human to equate it all to human like technology, but remove that thought and make it about dragons and what would work for them, and that’s where MY mind is. Again, hard to explain to someone how you envision something. I’d like to draw lots of this stuff out, but I got enough on my plate rn. Just tryin’ to make ends meet while Kurt and I start to prepare him for surgery.
Thank ye hon

I can’t say I really agree with ye, I imagine the city to fit their size, anatomy, and more. So for a human, it would be more like a city for giants and not a welcoming place for them; which it shouldn’t, big ol’ city for durgins. Plenty of let off points for dragons to fly from, angles on buildings that would give humans vertigo, and all that jazz.
Granted, I haven’t illustrated how i envision it, so it would be understandably hard for someone else to picture what I do. Maybe one day *lazily shakes fist*
Either way, even if some people find it silly, it won’t change what I enjoy and pour me little heart into.

Lost Queen : No, I wouldn’t. I’d still hunt Spyro down; clearly, purple dragons have too much power to wield. Malefor was able to wipe my people out, it would be safest to eliminate the purple dragons to prevent another species suffering what my people went through.
Kind of. Havok’s always been more dragon than human, but he gets more beastly once he passes into his thirties and more (pretty much, when he becomes a king). He grows in size until he’s around… 50-60 I think? But by then he’s a huuuuuge huge dood, which is funny cuz his eventual wife stays tiny 8,D

Good questions, all around!!! 😀
1. Coreless dragons can be found in and outside of Croma species, but the specific titles like Artisans to Dream Weavers are unique to the Croma. It’s just a genetic mutation that cuts them off from having elemental magic entirely, though they do possess ‘magic of the realms,’ hence the ability for Artisans to create works of art that can predict the future or perfectly portray past events that have no records. Or the ability of the Beast Makers to literally make living creatures out of dirt and rocks. This is one of the major reasons why the Croma consider themselves to be the ‘good guys,’ though the coreless dragons found within the Kuros are still given purpose and seen as valued members of their people, so long as they can prove themselves.
2. So far there aren’t really anymore than I can think of anymore that we haven’t met, but The Realms are a big place and full of magic; who knows what is or isn’t around? Also there are two major elemental dragons I haven’t officially introduced yet, both of which are deeply tied with the Kuros and the Croma both. But like the Dune Wyrms, they’re not officially affiliated with either, and operate secretly on both sides.
3. Koof’s species doesn’t technically exist in The Realms; she’s the only one of her kind. She’s actually, all things considered, an extraterrestrial being from another dimension. Hence her powers, her strange appearance, and her knowledge of events past, present and future that she has neither witnessed or been directly involved in.
Also, some interesting things I want to point out, because you raised some points that I think might need clarifying on:
- Poison and Fear Dragons are actually defected Croma dragons. They just want to pretend like they are kin to the Kuros and are, in general, mostly a nuisance. They are either found attacking the Croma in the name of the Kuros, for their own gain, or a combination of the two, or selling their services to some of the Kuros’s greatest enemies. They just want to be part of the Kuros so badly because the Kuros seem to be the only ones who would tolerate them and protect them if they prove themselves worthy enough.
- Laufeia’s wyverns, not to be confused with the Dune Wyrms, are technically dragons, but also not. They don’t have the ability to speak, write, or read, and have no free will of their own. None of the dragon species, subspecies or not, consider them kin, despite the fact that they are dragons to all intents and purposes. They are just horribly mutated ones.
@pepper-peen-queen, check this out beeb!

Oh no, that’s why i put ‘ marks around ‘children’s books’. I wasn’t doubting that they’re not adult enough or anything. I used to read Warriors as a kid, and I STILL remember how gory Tigerstar’s death was O-O’’’ or just how violent and real those books could get. That’s why I tried reading the Owl’s of Ga’hoole books, thinking that even tho they’re kid books they’d still be great, buuuut I couldn’t do it. I’m mostly saying that’s the main reason why I didn’t bat an eye at Wings of Fire at first, last I tried I got disappointed so I wasn’t willing to throw money at another book I was unsure of.
A lot of people I trust have told me otherwise, and maybe one day I’ll pick them up, but other than people saying they’re good I’ve had little urge to try them. BUT, I haven’t been up to reading like, at all so that’s not a diss at the series. I’ve been a bit curious to read Eragon again just because I follow Paolini on Twitter and I got the bug to re-read the books again.
