Lost Queen : That would be the Ukaros, a creature that could or could not have been real. It was a creature of folklore and told stories of, but it’s existence was never proven.

The tale goes that there was once a deranged, banished kurosian female called

Kalabaul

that wondered the mountains in her lonesome. What she was banished for changes depending on the storyteller, however she was consumed by hatred for her own kind as a result. The banishing mark kept her from entering Kurosia, keeping her from revenge, so she decided to bare offspring to send in her place. She allowed herself to be taken by an Uka, and the blasphemous Ukaros was born. However, the beast was mindless, unable to understand what it’s mother wanted of it, so she allowed it to eat her heart and gain the devilish will. Kalabaul began to rot away but her soul stuck to her bones, as Bhailiu refused to take her, but she is unable to move from her dreadful cave among the mountains. 

Now, with the bloodthirsty will, the Ukaros crawled into Kurosia, and haunts it’s streets, feasting on the hearts of Kuros that dishonor their families.

It was a tale parents would tell children as a lesson to always honor their bloodlines and or people, otherwise the Ukaros would come and eat their hearts. There are many varying versions of this creature’s origin, some make the creature as some sort of vampire that drinks the blood of Kuros that secretly don’t honor darkness or their people, some say they work like werewolves in that a bite from it will turn the Kuros into one too. There’s always stories of Kuros seeing one but never proven true.

I FUKIN LOVE IT, HOLY SHEIT! The animation is beautiful, mouth sync a little off but I can forgive it for wonderful environmental design. The characters, so far, are a million times less annoying than their game counterparts. The show actually got me to laugh way more often than I thought it would, and I just adore how they brought that narcissistic Spyro back ;u; Eon’s actually tolerable too, he doesn’t creep me out nearly as much as his game counterpart (thank. gawd). 

My favorite part? Kaos, oh my lawd I LOVE how evil they made Kaos. Burying people alive, throwing scalding liquid on Glumshanks for shits’n’giggles, and that smacking Spyro in the face with the book, GUH I LOVE HIM. Evil lil shit he be, and he’s animated wonderfully too! 

I would have made it to the livestream of the showing, but unfortunately I was rudely awakened super early this morning by construction on the apartment above me, AND they shut water off for maintenance so I had no coffee -3- And, Skyrim remastered came out today so I spent most of my day playing that before watching the show (I decided to save it to watch while I ate dinner). 

I’m loving the show a million times more than the game. Because honestly… the game is a bit of a let down for me. I’m finding it more annoying than fun, but that’s an entirely different post xD I’ll wait on that until I finish it.

That purple blur that just whizzed past your eyes and blew the papers off your desk isn’t your imagination playing tricks on you – it’s Spyro, maybe the greatest Skylander of all time. And this cocky hero would be the first to tell you that! But there’s no denying this is one awesome dragon. Who else can breathe fire, fly like an acrobat through the air, and tell a joke all at the same time? That’s some serious multi-tasking! When the cards are stacked against you, you want a friend like Spyro on your side – because he’ll jump right into danger without thinking twice. He probably won’t even think once! Which might explain why he finds himself in over his head more than he’d care to admit. Could a Skylander this impulsive really be the “Chosen One” like Master Eon believes? Only one way to find out…

OOC : *sniffles* all the feels from when I first discovered spryo as a wee kid all those years ago. So pumped for this show!

My queen, could it be possible to rebuild your species? If you or your children were to breed with other dragons, could the Kuros be brought back?

Lost Queen : I cannot say for sure, I know my bloodline wouldn’t be enough to bring my city back to it’s glory. Perhaps, if our Gods were re-awakened, they could do something. But alas, the city is too over-populated by malicious poltergeist to even get close to the temples. Even then, I have no real idea what Malefor did to them to silence them like this. Therefor, no idea how to wake them back up.

My best hope is that my children carry on the true Kurosian way, and maybe, just maybe, our Gods will re-awaken and bring us back.

I’m the book of Kaos, it’s mentioned that Kaos’s brothers have blond hair. Think you might play around with Reave’s design a bit? o3o

OOC : Naaaah, one thing I don’t do is bend to ‘canon’ x,D Reave might need some work, but more with the rest of his body and not his hair. Blonde Reave is…no thank you O-O’’’ he’s actually meant to look the way he does on purpose.

They ended up changing Kaos’ backstory completely since that book I think, but ah well! One thing Weirdlanders is, is totally NOT canon x,D
