I was originally going to draw the Lost Queen, but once I drew the head it ended up looking like Spyro, so I erased the whole thing and drew him like in the Netflix thumb nail.

Long before Asiirha or Astraeus were born, Ciar and Ifreann were thick as thieves, as it were. Well loved by their sire, constantly pushed by their dam, and chosen later in life to be two of King Burdohk’s personal soldiers, they were well known and celebrated warrior twins.

What was little known however was the passion the pair shared for reading and education. Most of their earnings from the King himself’s own hoards would often be split down the middle, with both donating to the great library in the college of Kurosia. Often anonymously.

During and after their years spent in the college classes themselves, the twins memorized every space, every nook and cranny of the library. They knew where to find books from every sections, all the rarely touched sections, and all the hidden alcoves where they could read in peace.

Reading was something both the pair passed on to their sons; and though it pained her to relive the memories of her youth spent discovering the most private alcoves, Ciar shared all of these with her son, and this is where they spent most of their time bonding during his childhood and teen years.

Is there a official ref for Feuriah?

She’s my most iconic character

Last drawn ref was years ago

*hangs head in shame*

I do really need to do a ref of her, a full updated one >n>’ her last official refs for FD or even WL has been quite a few years. I did have a Lost Queen ref in the works, but last time I went back to it I realized I’d have to redo so much as my style had changed some for her. Buuuut this ask did remind me that that’s a preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetty important character to have references of aint it -_-’

Who are Titus’ mates? The mothers of Astraueus and Morpheus?

theshimmeringisles:

MOD: Ifreann Cred’vel was Astraeus’s mom and Titus’s last mate yes!

Cordelia Deepfin was a Water Chroma and his mate before Ifreann, and ended their bond after he was captured and she learned of the atrocities he’d committed. I don’t have a picture of Cordelia yet, but here’s what Ifreann looked like:

Ifreann will change a bit the next time we see her mostly because I established her and Ciar’s parents’ designs, so I’ll probably be dropping the jaw horns mostly due to the fact that I slap them on a LOT of my OCs. But Ifreann and Cordelia’s stories will be told at some point!

The Cnaimdubh were thought of as being holy and blessed by the gods, so why were the Kuros so afraid of them at the same time? It sounds like they were almost a little hated.

theshimmeringisles:

MOD: Just because they’re blessed by a god doesn’t mean that the god themselves isn’t feared. Breithonakt will judge the Kuros and bar them from entering The Veil, too, and in his story, Breith ‘betrays’ his own people due to jealousy over not acting on his own powers in time.

And also you have to remember that the last

Cnámhdubh completely lost her mind due to being so closely tied to Breithonakt and his power. The

Cnámhdubh have a slim chance of being mentally stable, and with such a bad taste left in their mouths from Reothadh and some of the elders living in Kurosia having lived/fled from her slaughter of hundreds of her own kind, the birth of a new black boned Kuros leaves many with mixed feelings. It doesn’t help that Asiirha is huge, and that Kurogh might have spread some false rumors as a kid about him being violent. And to his credit, Maeldun wanted his son to be feared (due to a skewed view of fear=respect) so he didn’t stop those rumors from circulating.
