The most feared villains in all of Skylands, Kaos and his partner in crime The Lost Queen! Dare to ask them questions, their mischievous children Havok and Hysteria, and explore an alternative take on Skylanders!
So sorry I wanted to answer this DURING Pride month, but work has been sooooooOOOOOOoooooooo bad I haven’t had the energy to really reply to this one as it’s a bit complicated for some characters, but one I really wanted to answer! So thank you for this one!!! ;u; If I missed someone that peeps are curious about, feel free to ask!
Note : The Kurosian ‘norm’ was Polyamorous. Kuros couldn’t love persay, but could have more than one partner at a time and it wasn’t seen as weird or unusual. Gender and Sexuality isn’t an issue in the culture, only falling in love was.
Feuriah – Bisexual/Polyamorous – Has notably had more male partners than female, Feur had female partners as well. She however had a different type of female she would feel attraction for, and not many held that standard; probably due to Athrenna being on top of the pedestal and few could compare. Kruta and Raigur’Ja were who two Mjol she cared the most for, but weren’t her only partners in Kurosia.
Havok – Hetero/Polyamorous (closeted Bisexual possibly) – Havok’s been a weird guy to figure out, even for me. He started out as that hottie stud player boy, but since he’s been around for like, 3-4 years, his character has gotten more complex. – Havok heavily prefers girls for partners, but has no desire for a relationship. Except for Whisper, she is the only woman he’s ever truly fallen in love with as he sees her in a completely different light than the other partners he’s had. – Viril is the only one to know, but Havok’s been curious about men as well. Never enough to act on it, but he asked Viril enough questions that his brother knows full well he’s curious. This changes after Luminous shows his interest in Havok years into their friendship. Havok cares way too much about one of his best friends to push him away for it, and can’t help but also be curious as well. Luminous doesn’t know Havok isn’t completely rejecting his feelings, something Havok feels bad for since he doesn’t want to string Luminous along either. Viril teases them both openly. Havok hasn’t felt this towards any other male however, so he’s still very fuzzy on where he stands.
Hysteria (when adult of course) – Asexual – Hysteria never has any interest in others, she’s too selfish and power hungry of a person
Kurogh – Bisexual/Polyamorous – Preferred more feminine males and females, not caring which gender/orientation they were – Had an interest in the Naga
Athrenna – Lesbian/Polyamorous – Our great mighty Lesbian Queen – Had her own large harem of females, though she spent most of her time hanging out with them and enjoying their company – Feuriah had a crush on her, but nothing would have ever happened between them. Feuriah respected Athrenna too much as an idol to have tried to court her or join her harem
Raigur’Ja – Bixexual/Polyamorous – Preferred males, rarely had female partners
Kruta – Hetero/Polyamorous – Though he focused more on books than partners, he had a preference to females if he does decide to reach out
Brombe – Pansexual/Polyamorous – Brombe loved just about everyone, but would remember exactly what he liked about every single person – Umbracorn, dragon, centaur, he didn’t care what species you were he made sure you felt wanted and special
Ea’Gann, Scarmane – Asexual – Felt no attraction to anyone or anything
Headshot – Demisexual– Usually too obsessed with bones to care about anyone romantically or to feel attraction, but if someone can break through the bones and madness he’d fall head over hooves for them
Before I became Queen, before I even joined Athrenna’s guard, Brombe got his job within Wunja’s temple. Because we knew him, we could visit inside and even glimpse at the God in the distance. I was on my way down the hazy, melting heat of the city when I turned a corner and there he was. I was still so very far away from him, but he was massive, singing to himself as he worked. I thought his singing was the entire workforce singing, but it was just him. With every strike of his hammer, the ground shook a little.
How aaanyone slept in this temple was beyond me. The ‘temple’ was like a town in of itself, gated off and built into the mountain. Workers lived there, like Brombe, but how anyone would stand it baffles me.
I spoke briefly with Wunjabrot, when I became Queen. He greeted me, welcoming me as if he were my grandfather. Everything about him feels wholesome, even if he’s giant. But the first time I saw him left such an impact on me. Meeting any God is an experience that is hard to explain, but it’s an immense honor.
However, his temple has been locked from the inside, like all the temples. Possibly the priests and priestesses took as many survivors into the temples and locked them in, but I have not found out a way to enter any of them safely. I attempted once with Cynder… and we barely escaped with our lives. The spirits trapped in the temples are far, far worse than any of the ones walking the streets. They seem impossible to disperse, so I haven’t sent another team to try. The Castle, so far, is the only place in Kurosia that is safe enough to travel.
As far as I know he’s still within, sleeping. ~Lost Queen

The mind. Hysteria’s favorite passtime is driving others to the brink of insanity, breaking their minds until they’re only loyal to her. It’s how she eventually wants to rule, using her ability to manipulate others into either worshiping her, or fearing her too greatly to fight back.Even at ten years old, she’s becoming more twisted with her methods of mental torture.
A fan story for @weirdlanders based off of her Kuros mainly the childhood of Athrenna and my oc kuro Athrenna’s twin sister Alorna.
The kuros had many stories about each other, about their fights they’re armour they’re gods even scars but no one knew about Athrenna’s scar on her face, it was a mystery even to her king because when anyone tries to ask her she would feel sad and ask to be left alone for a while for you see her scar brought back memories of her childhood and a promise that she wished she had kept.
Years ago far away secluded up in the mountains shrouded by mist was a small
Kurosian fishing village where the kuros lived a peaceful life fishing beside an gigantic lake protected by the mist.The kuros thanked the gods for they’re safe haven for beyond the mountain walls were threats of being discovered by the
Arkeyans
solider at least for the time being.One day on to top of hill was a small house inside was a very patient mother kuro sitting nearby a nest watching her first clutch of eggs that were starting to hatch, normally kuros lay one egg in their first clutch but this mother had layed two instead which is very rare but it didn’t matter to her she was just happy to have children at all.
((CRACK!! ))
Went the first egg as began to hatch the mother dragon cooed comforting words to encourage her first child out of the egg it wasn’t long until a head started to pear out of the shell. The baby dragon blinked as her eyes adjusted to the light her vision cleared and there her mother smiled as she looked at her new born daughter’s face.
“Hello sweetheart i’m your mommy welcome to the world my darling Athrenna”
Said Athrenna’s mother as she nuzzled her new born daughters face while clearing the eggshell away
“Algoneer come here one of our babies hatched!”
like a flash of lightning Athrenna’s father came into the nursery panting with excitement
“Zathura you did it”
He said as he stood beside his mate and smiled
“No we did it silly”
she chuckled and sighed.
Just then the other egg started to move then a small crack started to appear on its shell.Both parents stepped closer to the nest as Algoneer nudged the egg to see if its still alive because two eggs of a first clutch one of them doesn’t always survives.But then
((Crack!!))
a pair of wings bursts out of the eggshell Athrenna peered into the egg and saw her twin sister. Athrenna looked at her new sibling with curiosity then smiled as she leans to nuzzle her new sister while the newly hatched baby peeped in delight and nuzzled back.
Zathura cleared the shell away then she licked her two daughters clean as they squeaked and purred in delight
“what do you we should call her Algoneer?”
said Zathura as turned to her mate Algoneer pondered and then smiled and answered
“how about Alorna?”
“that’s perfect!”
she said as she turns to her babies who have fallen asleep.
Over the years the two sisters lived happily in the village Athrenna had many friends she was very popular with a lot of the other young kuros but Alorna didn’t, she was always by herself looking into the water of the lake very often she would wander off to play with the animals and critters that lived the forests around the village she felt like an outcast because the other children wouldn’t play with her because of a problem. Alorna was different she didn’t like the idea of the kuros killing innocent people and destroying other kingdoms it didn’t felt right to her it felt wrong another thing she felt was also wrong was not being able to love sure she can accept the love for thy people rule but not being able to love in a romantic way just felt wrong love is something you can never get rid of it doesn’t make weak it makes you stronger though she would never say that out loud fearing the wrath of her parents.
Alorna walked until she found her favourite spot to listen to the wind and mountains where they lived the mountains would sing as the powerful gales blow through the caves and holes in the mountains rock the music was soothing to Alornas ears she imagined herself with her own children sitting on the hillside listening the the song of the mountains.Just then her dreams were shattered as Athrenna pounced on her
“Gotcha sis daydreaming again?”Athrenna said
“yes is that a problem?” Alorna said in annoyed tone
as she pinned her sister to the ground
“yes is that a problem?” Alorna saidin annoyed tone
Athrenna looked at her sister and said
“sorry Alorna you just seemed dumb down lately i just thought you could use a little cheering up”as she got off her sister.
Although Alorna didn’t have any other friends she was at least happy that she had her best friend whom was also her sister, Athrenna would always keep her company and make her feel happy for when she’s sad and even though Athrenna had a wild spirit and often gets a bit rough with her play Alorna was still happy to have her.
Alorna got up and sat down looking at the view of the lake below
“I don’t need cheering up i just like to be alone ok?” she said in the sad tone
Athrenna looked at her sister with a worried face and said
“It’s because you don’t want to be evil isn’t it?”
Alorna stared at Athrenna in shock then turned away in shame wondering what she thinks of her.
“You must hate me now don’t you?” Alorna said sadly
“What?! no i don’t what makes you think that?” said a shocked Athrenna
“Because i’m not like the others i don’t want to hurt anyone i just want to be friends with all kinds of people i want fall love in and have a family i don’t want to have to fight for my mate i want to let life and love to do that for me not some contract …..it just feels…..wrong!”Alorna says as tears starts to stream down hers eyes.
Athrenna just stared she knew if anyone else found out about this Alorna would killed the others even her parents would be angry at this it was not the kuros custom to express emotions like this if they did the punishment would severe even by death. Athrenna sat there and thought very hard she sighed and said
“hey sis i know this is a very stressful thing for you but don’t worry i’m gonna stand by you through think and thin even if it kills us beside’s your my sister no matter what your like or how you feel you’ll always be my sister”
Alorna sniffled and looked in Athrenna’s eyes and said
“you really mean that?”
“Of course i do did you really think i would turn on you and get you killed nope not me” said Athrenna with a smile
Alorna starts to grin and sighs in relief now feeling happy that her sister accepts for who she is she feels content and decides to tell Athrenna the dream she hopes that will come true.
“Wow that’s a pretty cool dream you have there sis” says Athrenna her sister smiles and she asks
“so what’s your dream?’‘
Athrenna paused the thought for a moment then finally she says
’’To become queen of Kurosia!”
Alorna looked at her surprised
“Wait WHAT?!”
she gasps she looked at Athrenna like she was crazy
“You can’t be serious you know that’s impossible right?”
“yeah i know be but i’m gonna try to become the greatest queen that the Kuros will ever see, just you wait Alorna we will rule kurosia together” said Athrenna while hugging her sister as the sun sets over the mountains Alorna smiled as they watched the sunset.
“uh oh we’d better get back before mom gets mad at us for being late for supper’’
Athrenna says getting up with Alorna she looks at her and says
“Alorna don’t worry about a thing i’ll keep your secret it’s safe with me”
Alorna smiled and says
“thank you i appreciate it really”
both sisters give a comforting hug then Athrenna starts running shouting
“RACE YA!!”
Alorna laughs and chases after her down the hill back to their home knowing that nothing bad will happen to each other If only that was true.
(Well that took a while been meaning to post this story for @weirdlanders for some time now hope you enjoy this sorry if the layout is weird i’m not good at typing stories.)

Oh yee, with Goldie, pretty much her and Wolfgang are one of the top wanted ‘criminals’ wanted by Feur and Kaos’ entire empire after the events of WL’s version of Trap Team. As Feur and Kaos’ kingdom/empire grows, they have fewer places to run, so both Wolfgang and Golden Queen join the Skylanders as Sensei to gain protection.
Dreamcatcher still works for the Golden Queen but isn’t a Sensei. She refuses to call herself a Skylander at all, and acts like she only answers to Goldie. Though she has weened more into being a Skylander; she won’t fight Kaos’ empire though. She’s far too terrified to risk being caught. Although she isn’t that high on their wanted list, she’s still fiercely loyal to Goldie; therefor, she’s a big enough target. She still has a crush on Havok, but when he sees her he instantly feels sick as she had constantly talked his ears off whilst he was nearly dying from his infected tail stunt. As she still acts very immature, he steers veeeeeeeeery clear of her.
Chompy kiiiiinda works for Kaos, but he’s mostly gone off on his own. Which Kaos is pretty okay with, WL Chompy Mage is more like a crazed hobo who is an actual mage but rarely uses his magic x,D He became a Doom Raider more by happenstance. He was useful for some things but they weren’t that attached to him due to not working well with others.
Gulper, however, I kinda pretend he doesn’t exist >n>’ he weirds me out in a way, not sure why.
Then there’s technically Luminous and Nightshade from the DLC packs. Luminous works for Havok (though he’s mostly his best friend besides Viril), and therefor the Empire, while Nightshade is on their wanted list. He had stolen quite a bit from the Kurosian castle, and he had been smuggling items while he had once worked for Kaos. He was found out whilst attempting to break into the blocked off old royal hatchery (the one Kurogh died in during the fall). Feuriah immediately raised a blood hunt after him, seeing it as an unforgivable crime that he must die for (*winkwink* Apple of his Eye was meant to take place shortly after this event too ;D ). Nightshade has avoided capture for years, but has to go under severe hiding. He’s very hard to find, is more paranoid, but still very cocky and charming. He’s gotten a few new scars from all the encounters.
Zaki: I namely had 2 best friends who I kept in contact with until I was banished…
Ah well, Siothrún was destined to be a Brujin Priest due to his blue flame despite his wish to be a simple stain glass artisan. We got along a lot due to our chosen futures. He always knew how to make me laugh.
Quinn was originally a friend of my sister, but was drawn to me and Siothrún. She was able to relax around us, and she always told the best scary stories!
HNGGGGG I am probably the wooooooooorst person to ask, I’m sorry! I’m very sparse when I write because my full time job comes first, then commissions, then personal work IF I have freetime. My time management skills are nowhere to be seen 8,D But I wish you luck hon! Usually when I read a lot or listen to audio books I get more inspired to write ;3; if that helps!
Aaaaah right, yeah I just did nooooooooooot enjoy that game. It’s way down there on the list for sure. Granted, I did like the gimmick this time, like a lot. Only other gimmick I liked was Swap’s, honestly. The customization and variety was really awesome for Imaginators, it faaaar surpasses Sonic Force’s poor customization. But to get more stuff, i gotta replay levels, and I didn’t enjoy a lot of these ones. I will say I feel that’s mostly because I was feeling the franchise fatigue, the levels felt more like chores, there were some interesting ideas but I didn’t personally enjoy them. I didn’t even beat it, now that I remember :<
And the story was so lazy, I think that ticked me off the most. Kaos just right on back to how he was in the first games, and while I don’t expect melodramatic compelling stories out of these, it just felt uninspired. At least with Superchargers, there was this HUGE super epic battle with this giant thing that eats islands. Super Saiyan Kaos was funny at least x,D I’m very glad they took a break after this one because fuuuuh. Such a pity, the Imaginator’s gimmick was really really awesome and fun, the gameplay and story were just too terrible that it couldn’t make up for it :T JUST my opinion though!
