Voteil : I’m still a spirit, and like the others, I’m trapped in Kurosia until Bhailiu comes from the Veil. All of our Gods except Breithonackt fell silent the night Malefor attacked, and haven’t woken since. I might be trapped, but I’m kind of happy for that. I can keep an eye on Mommy and help her when I can!
I was shy at first, but I kind of like answering questions for you guys! Gives me a chance to use my sooth-saying abilities (er, when they work). Just don’t mind if I slip up, and I can’t keep my living appearance anymore… I apologize now if I ever scare anybody, I don’t mean to! It’s just REALLY hard to keep up a living form when I’m upset.

*laughs* They didn’t even TRY to make something new this year! Just the exact same toy from the first game again but “if we put the word *elite* in front of it, it will be something new!” Because dark and legendary copies weren’t enough yet! So even after they made Spyro, dark Spyro, legendary Spyro and elite spyro, people still don’t have the slightest idea they are being ripped off.Actually, if you’re willing to pause the hate train for a sec, I might be able to shed some light on this to maybe get you to see why people might like this 😀
The Elite figurines, as you see here, are for collectors. They’re not really mean’t to be played, though I think they can be. They’re high detailed painted figurines with a metallic coat, so basically not fo the kiddies. This was a side project type of thing, not a main focus for the upcoming game. It’s more of a thing for older Skylander fans that are into collecting things (pandering to my inner Pokemon nerd, but with figurines!). As a personal side note, I’m not a fan of these two figures. They’ll be coming out with more, and I’m hoping they do some of the cooler characters like Ghost Roaster and the likes.
All the new stuff coming out is the Trap Team kind of thing, with the gems and being able to catch villains and play as them (Like Kaos). It’s also key to remember; this is a game geared toward kids, not people like me who are older and a kid at heart. I’d possibly agree that I’m being ripped off, but hey, I work for the money I spend like an adult, I’m free to choose what I do with my money without judgement. While I don’t pander to everything Skylanders, I get the things that make me enjoy myself 🙂
Skylanders is really this generations version of Pokemon, and if you are a fan of anything of the sort, you should probably stop and try to understand people instead of snickering at them. Do I like what they did with Spyro? Not in the least bit, but I had my Legends and a handful of great games. Skylanders is enjoyable, I hated it at first, but boy am I glad I gave it a chance instead of letting prejudice rule me 😉
I hope that educated ya a bit more about this, since it ruffled ur feathers so. Unpause!

Lost Queen : Quite alright, I’m always happy to explain my people’s ways ^u^
It wasn’t mandatory, but for one who wants to, it takes decades of schooling and training. You have to truly be dedicated to become King or Queen. When you enter the tournaments, death is expected. Your final training years, you’re taught to either fight until you die, or win. It is not your goal to kill the other, but best them in combat, to show how powerful and determined you are to lead the Kurosian people. Most Kuros die from pushing themselves past their limit.
Lost Queen : Yeah at first it was difficult, but living among the Kuros really helped.
We did speak a few languages, depending on the dragon mostly. I can speak English and Kurosian fluently, but I can only read Arkeyan. I have a hard time speaking it, but it was a requirement of all Kuros to at least be able to read it and understand it.
Lost Queen : That does seem to confuse some, but think of it more as a ‘dark’ form of those elements. We trained ourselves to master the elements using dark magics.
One form of training involves meditation. It is where you connect with your inner darkness, you’re essence, every fiber of power within your self. One uses that to amplify your natural born ability. The more control you have over your inner power, the stronger you are.
