Lost Queen : Warfang was incredibly paranoid about Kuros; hence how I was treated as a mere baby. But nobody was more prejudice than Acerbus. I’ve never heard of other Kuros being in Warfang, or even around; Spirits, if there had been the whole city would have gone mad. 

I could be wrong, I never looked into it, nor did I ask him. I obeyed my Queen when she demanded to see my loyalty, and I killed him myself without a doubt. I haven’t wanted to find out who my mother was, I was disgusted enough with my father. Kurosia raised me, they were my family.

I’ve wanted to do a more realistic take on the Queen anyhoot, because she never quite came out the way I wanted her to in the Skylander style. It’s been a REALLY long time since I’ve done anything realistic (I think since college…oops) so this was the perfect thing to work on during our stops. I’m really not happy with how her hair turned out, but I didn’t quite feel up to making hair look like hair x,D Maybe another time. Secretly I wish I could do a mohawk but short hair is good enough

So Lost Queen, We are all know about Kaos’s mother but what about your mother?

Lost Queen : I never found out who she was, I only found out who my father was a few days before I lead the Kurosians into Warfang. It really could have been any female in the city; after Acerbus’ first mate passed he was quite… ‘active’. But honestly I don’t care who she was; neither she nor Acerbus stepped in during the years I suffered in Warfang nor did they defend me during my trail. She was probably killed along with Acerbus when the Kuros attacked. 

I love your characters, I honestly think you’re one of the best Fan character creators I’ve seen in along time. You’ve inspired me to rework and improve my characters (both Fan and Original), do you have any helpful tips?

As for tips… gawd I’m bad at these. But I shall do my best! 

If you want advice writing characters, what I usually do is write down big personality traits that I want this character centered around. Like what their quirks are, what their favorite things are and what their fears are. I usually bullet point these, and then I bring them to my close friends to throw ideas with back and forth. Sometimes, I even roleplay with them, just to get a feel for the character and how they’d react to things. But I also through ideas around with them to get their input, and heck if they have ideas I consider them and possibly add them in (with credit).

Designing characters is a bit more tricky, and it can take me weeks and months to really be happy with a design. I also show WIPs to my friends to see what they think too. I went to an art college, so sharing WIPs was the best way to get useful critiques and build a strong, awesome character. As my ol’ teacher used to say, “you can’t make good shit in a vacuum” (i had an awesome teacher i need to quote him more).

Does the Kurosian castle have a name or title?

Lost Queen : It’s usually referred to as the “Kurosian Castle”, since it’s our capital castle of our race (or was), but in our language it’s called “Kurosin’laidirlon” (pronounced Kuro-sin-lie-dur-lawn). It basically translates to “Kurosian castle”, but in full it’s “Castle of the strong Kurosian race”.
