Cynder : Not to mention that it’s filled to the brim with random, scary monsters that have no business being there and my mother barely notices them. Just to get to the bathroom, you have to go through this circular hall where a giant two headed horse drawn chariot with spiked wheels stampedes relentlessly so you have to dodge him by hiding in little doorways. WHY, WHY DO THAT.

Lost Queen : Sadly, after I killed him the Queen of the Kuros told me that killing your most hated enemies too swiftly is seen as mercy. I took that lesson to heart, and never forgot it.

As for my mother, I never found out who she was. She was probably just some fire dragoness my father had a one night stand with; I heard he got around quite a bit after his mate died.

Hugo’s Journal:

“Last night, Pop Thorn came to me to tell me about his departure with Cynder and their expedition crew. They’re going to find somewhere safe for their eggs to be incubated, and hatched. With how things have been going with The Lost Queen, I don’t blame them…

"Her attacks on the Undead Homeworld have become more and more frequent. With each one, the animosity between Cynder and Spyro gets more and more heated…

"I wasn’t there when Spyro snapped at Cynder, but I heard it, from an entire island away. I even felt it. Pop Thorn didn’t tell me the details, but I’m starting to worry now….

"I’m not sure what scares him more: the threat of The Lost Queen coming after Cynder, or Spyro using Cynder to get closer to The Lost Queen. Or worse…Spyro taking out his grudge against The Lost Queen on Cynder…

"Eon watch over them….”

Djinn: “There was a time in my existence that I thought the same as you, Anon; I viewed an existence without free will as awful. But allow me to ask you a question, and perhaps it will help you find the answers on your own….

“Is it so terrible to have a family? To feel for them as strongly as my Mistress does? Is it so terrible that I believe in nothing more than helping her when I can, and when she allows me to, in whatever endeavors she pursues? Is it so terrible to feel loved, and to feel love, for beings that are more like family than I was ever graced with?

"The lives I’ve been a part of pale in comparison to the bond I share with The Mistress. I care for her more than I thought could be possible.

"Is that really so awful…?”

Miss Lost Queen could tell us about the Kurosian language a bit? Like what were the words for the elements or sky and sea?

Lost Queen : You’re… interested in my natural tongue? I’m… honored ;u;

Our language is revered by many of the dark arts. Wizards who can master it use it to summon spells, as our very words are linked with the darkness. Few who are not of Kuros blood can master it; those that can are respected.

As for the elements, we have many. But specifically, the word for sky is “Himul”, the sea is “Yagul”. But we have different words for seas and skies, like the sky that sits above our city, we call it “Rjunhuld”, which means “Chosen Skies”. Kurosia is the main city of all Kuros, therefor our people believe it’s where we reach our own ‘heaven’.

Hey Feuriah, I was wondering, are there Kurosian candies? If yes, what flavor are they?

Lost Queen : Ooo yes! My ultimate favorite candy was called Smarg (pronounced s-m-ur-g), which was extracted mabu bone marrow sweetened with sugars and spices. I still make it from time to time but, sadly it is nothing compared to how the butchers made it ;n; *sniffle*

Cynder’s jewelry is made out of her deceased fathers bones!? Yeesh that’s hard core and traumatizing :(

Lost Queen : I’m… shocked, myself, but… accurate, even by Kurosian standards. It would have been an honor for her to receive her father’s bone armor, it is a sign of the offspring surpassing their parents in both strength and wisdom in battle. But, with my personal thoughts on Kurogh… I wish she wouldn’t wear them, knowing that now. It’s almost degrading on her part. He fought for the Kuros, but fought for them to be nothing but mindless killing machines, and our people were more than that. She deserves better armor than that male’s bones…

Cynder Head-Canon: Cynder’s Jewelry

Cynder’s jewelry is made out of Kurogh’s bones. After his death, Malefor kept Kurogh’s body for himself, briefly considering making it into a trophy or a living-dead puppet servant of sorts. After a while, though, he decided to mock the Kurosian ways and used Kurogh’s bones to make the collar and wrist cuffs that Cynder wears today.

Up until Malefor died, the cuffs and collar were used as a physical form of mind control. Now that Malefor is gone, sometimes Cynder can hear the whispers of her father’s tortured soul in her nightmares, most notably his final moments at his murderer’s claws.

// OCC : ….welp! This is actually true! Cynder’s jewelry is made out of her father’s bones, congratulations!

razzretina:

While it’s half-assed dragons o’clock, here’s an unfinished Berserker sketch. Decked out in full armor and getting ready to murder the crap out of somebody. o_o Yes, she hit that Kuros boy so hard it cracked his metal horns off, too. o_o Like the Pariah, Berserker can’t fly. She has wings but she’s too bulky to get off the ground with them; she uses them like extra hands in her forge, though. 🙂

The Kuros belong to Weirdhyena. 🙂
