What was the architecture, the city, of Kurosia like?

OOC : Actually, lawl, I’ll answer this one 🙂 Since it’s quite a task  for Feur to describe it without imagery.

I am HORRENDOUS and drawing full scale cityscapes. Close ups I can do, hints I can do, but to show the whole of Kurosia how I pictured it… maybe one day x,D But, until then, the best I can really do is provide references I’ve saved up over the years to help me in my countless attempts.

Kurosia itself has been described by the Queen before here from her point of view.

I based most of the castle itself off of Gothic Architecture, like this

Kurosians mostly used black stones and marble to build their castle, with stained windows and incredibly decorated in furnishings.

Another inspiration that really hit of late was the Drangleic Castle from Dark Souls 2. The feel, architecture, and even stones used to make up the castle greatly reflected how I saw the Kurosian Castle.

lastly, the most accurate depiction of Kurosia that has been drawn was from a commission I received from a good friend, DragonCid over on dA for the original version of Feuriah’s story in the Legend of Spyro universe.

I hope that helps! One day I hope to actually draw Kurosia in full, or at least in parts. I can try for some scenes, but for now, this is the best I can provide ^u^

Lost Queen : 8X

skylanderwishes:

Cynder: *sighs* Well, a week after I’d taken Djinn’s lamp from Havok, the Skylanders were attacked by a swarm of gargoyles. My mother was leading the attack, and instructed her minions to go after those of the Undead element specifically; she knew Djinn was with me. I’ve never seen her angrier…but she didn’t attack me. In fact, each time I engaged her, she would go on the defensive and try to avoid me, no matter how I begged for her to call back her fighters….

Cynder: While she was distracted by Spyro and Drobot, I managed to tell the Undead to retreat while the enemy was distracted. On the way to our escape, however, a gargoyle caught us by surprise, and went straight for me. I managed to dodge it’s first attack, but the second time around, I couldn’t move in time…

Cynder: Then, someone was standing in front of me, and I heard Rattle Shake shout for me to run. He fought off the gargoyle as I did just that, but once we were all in the stronghold, he wasn’t with us.

Cynder: I don’t know if she could sense it, but when I realized he could be dead, Djinn just…showed up. I told her that I wanted her to find Rattle Shake, and bring him back to us. When he came back, he was close to death, and torn to shreds along his back and stomach. I asked Djinn to heal him, and she did…but he’ll probably always have the scars….

Cynder: But he doesn’t really seem to mind that much. He says that it ‘gives him character.’ What’s more, that’s one more Skylander willing to go into hiding with us, to repay his debt to Djinn…

Lost Queen : *sigh* I was so close too :T

Yein Uch’Drafiur (pronounced Ye-in, Aa-ch’ Dre (rolling ‘r’), lee-fer, sounding close to “Ach Jennifer”. Translating to ‘Adoptive Sister’, “drafiur” meaning sister while adding ’uch’ means that the other is an addition to the family but not blood related.

// OOC : fun fact; most of the Kurosian language is heavily based off of Irish, Gaelic, Norwegian, and sometimes Finnish languages. I lean more closely to Irish/Gaelic, as a great deal of my family and inlaws are Irish ❤ The phrase above is a mash-up of “adoptive sister’ in Irish.

How I see the Lost Queen

OOC: well how I see the lost queen is someone who wants to look evil but yet they have a mind of a hero yet they chose to follow a path that was not made for them and they are trying to force themselves to look evil just because of something that happened in the past and is long gone but they never forget it and they have a taste for revenge. when these type of villains are approached about them being evil they defend their title of being evil and they try to convince everyone they ARE evil even though they may be but they still are full of regret and doubt yet they are full of pride and hatred that they keep going on the path of evil. the only way to make them go to the good side is to gain their friendship and tech them that those who had bullied them where wrong and they they should never had done such a thing. Well that is my opinion anyways……(( man im deep thinking today XD))

Weird Headcannons

* Spryo is Cynder’s half brother

*Malefor is Spyro’s uncle (subtle lion king reference)

I thought these up at 4am 🙂

// OOC : LOL, the funny thing is both of these used to be canon in the LoS verse of Feuriah’s Dawn, back in the early days! Things have hanged since then, but the second one is still pretty darn close! >:D

So while I know things with Volteal aren’t good, I doodled him one day in an attempt to break art block. Along with an attempted idea as to what a trained Seuth’s robes would look like … if they wore robes. .-. Do they…?

//OOC : Omg Voteil! I adore how he looks, and the robes are clever, i love em!!! aw thank you so much ❤
