OOC : This is one of the oldest asks in my box ;3; I’ve been etching away at it for like a year but kept forgetting about it, as it was kinda hefty to draw the whooole explanation of how they got together. BUT IT SHALL BE DONE!

Actuually, ill bring this back! Forgot about this post, but it explains how their relationship started out!

Based on a recent post you put up about kuros love does that mean that the lost queen is breaking a law by being in love with kais, or does she not really love him.

YUP she’s going against the old laws, which was the drama at the VERY beginning of their partnership. It took 2-4 years of her being around him before she started to fall for him, and when she did, she tried to break off their alliance and kicked him out of Kurosia. During the years of their first alliance, this is when Cynder and Feuriah met, Feur gave her a chance, and when Cynder betrayed Feuriah to save the Skylanders, Feur banished her. Feuriah was very mentally unstable given The Fall, but still tried to stick to the customs she grew up with.

Eventually, Kaos comes back and actually saves Feuriah from ancient Kuros hunters (Krypt King is one of these, not in that party hunting her but he was once a race that fought the Kuros), and that’s why she has that scar on her side. After that, Feuriah realized that falling in love with Kaos was helping her cope with this new life, so she went with the flow. The blog canon is set nearly 30 years after Kaos first woke her up, so they’re very comfortable and Feur’s doing much better. She even regrets marking Cynder’s aura, as the mark keeps her from ever passing the Veil again lest Breithonakt noms her up).

Sorries I shortened a LOT of plot there 8,D BUT YEE NO she really does love Kaos, and if her people made a comeback, it’s a part of her society she’d definitely change.

KumoriWind: Do some Kuros develop (sometimes) romantic feelings toward certain Chroma who constantly thwart their objectives? (i.e. Tsundere type affections)

Love in general is highly illegal, and socially blasphemous within Kurosian society. In Kurosian Media, like books, plays and festivals, they have countless stories about demonizing love to sometimes ridiculous means. Kruta, who was Feuriah’s first Mjol (boyfriend, love’s not involved but it’s like a favorite male you sleep with, Mjia being the girlfriend or Mjel non-gendered), was really into books about love and how poisonous it was, at least to their culture. 

Kuros can fall in love of course, and there’s always the crazy ones like Tsundere, but if they were within pre-Fall Kurosia, they would have been either banished or killed. Though if said Kuros fell in love with a Chroma, it’s even more likely they’d be executed publicly as that seems even more blasphemous than with another Kuros.

Was burdohk the only potential mate for Athrenna or were there others

Burdohk was already king when Athrenna fought him, he had a few contenders but he was able to hold his ground. Kurogh only fought him once, and he got his ass BEAT. Thats why when Burdohk kicked the bucket, he thought he could easily be King. Insert a decade of Athrenna dragging his spikey tush around the arena 8,D

Did some of the other areas of the Kuros’ territory have different architecture and designing styles? I think you said that the Kurosian City was gothic like Cynder’s tower was in TLOS A New Beginning so I was wondering if all Kurosian villages and cities were like that?

Yep! Totally, every region within Kurosia has different architecture, and even varying dialects of the language. There are deserts, jungles, forests, swamps, oceans and volcano realms/regions and more within Kurosia, each with with their own flavor to add to the Kurosian people. Id draw them but if im completely honest, architecture is my weakest subject ;_; i can envision the cities, villages, etc in my mind but when i go to draw them, pbbbbtbtbtbtbt. One day, one day, i just gotta practice more!

Can Yehkshire only transform into Chroma, or can they transform into other types of dragons as well, like Koof’s Dune Wyrms, or whatever High Five or Camo or Zap or the other various Skylander dragons are?

They can transform into any creature, its a useful ability to use for not only hunting, but hiding as well. They stick to breeding with other dragons though, Chroma are just easier to trick than others
