has any male every sought out a Yehkshir for love and not just to do the dance of the dragon rider

If they have, it’s not very wise (canonly speaking anyway, AUs are fine by me!). Yehskhir do not feel love, even for their young, so their fate would either be to breed then be eaten, or just be eaten. Granted, Yehkshir are so reclusive that most of the realms don’t even believe they exist. The Gods tend to keep them a secret too as they’re pretty much a backup plan to ensure the Kuros can make a come back… as long as they’re around >u>

If Kirin are Umbracorn and Kuros hybrids, are there other types of Dracocorns? Maybe Qilin or Sin-you?

theshimmeringisles:

MOD: As far as other kind of Dracocorns, yes that is entirely possible! I actually had plans to incorporate Kirin hybrids between the non-Kuros and unicorns! The practice of crossbreeding though is very frowned on by Chroma society, moreso than it used to be; ever since our fourth species of unnamed dragons started to gain more influence with the Chroma, the Chroma tend to never crossbreed anymore. Nowadays it’s more common with the Dunewyrms to crossbreed with the unicorns, and other species as well. Dunewyrms can practically crossbreed with anything tbh! There’s an idea I’ve had floating around of a Dunewyrm+Naga hybrid, specifically, where it’s essentially a Dunewyrm without hind legs and more snake-like features. (I’m sure you’d be the expert on that type of dragon too hue)

And as far as Qilin or Sin-you hybrids, that is entirely possible! Not exclusive to the Kirin species, though.

what did Nimsain and the other queens look like?

I mentioned before, I’m actually not too sure on Nimsain as she was going to be a new breed of bug like Kuros, but I ended up just making the bugs new kurosia beasts (still gotta draw them but yee). BUT, when I do figure it all out, dayum skippy I’ll be posting it! Apologies everything is taking so annoyingly long, real life is still a demanding binch, but my muse is VERY Kurosia-centric atm ;u;

As for the other Queens, there’s been hundreds of thousands of them. I haven’t drawn or thought specifically of any others, just Athrenna because of how important she was for Feuriah. Maybe if I catch the inspirational bug randomly I may, but for now I want to force myself to focus on the neglected lore >n>’’’

Was there ever a kuros En’Gann Saw as a worthy mate or had her respect?

Nope, no other Kuros stood a chance against her in battle, therefor she didn’t find a mate she saw worthy. She only found mates that were ‘decent enough’. Could mean they were powerful warriors, warlords, or could just bake a mean cake. She usually went for those that would produce good warriors and leaders, but every once in a while she’d find one that she’d go ‘eh why not’ x,D

I’m shure Kurouge had some issues but, would he had scene through malefores decete. Or did he just not care?

Unfortunately, no he couldn’t see past Malefor’s trickery. Malefor knew exactly how to manipulate someone like Kurogh, so he had no chance. Kurogh wanted every drop of praise, it was a surefire way to get him to remotely like you. No amount of praise was enough for him, no lucky break was enough, nothing was ever enough for him. Malefor was seen as a savior God, so all he had to do was treat Kurogh like he was the bestest Kuros in all of Kurosia. He made Kurogh think that he trusted Kurogh, believed his way of thinking was the best, and that he deserved to be the most famous of his people. He fed Kurogh every lie under the Veil to keep him tightly under his claws; Kurogh never stood a chance.

The only point he saw through Malefor was the mere seconds before he died. When Malefor admitted that he wasn’t helping Kurogh ‘purify’ his people, he was wiping them all out. That Kurogh helped end his people, his culture, and he wouldn’t even be remembered.

Athrenna grew up in Shinnan, a major fishing village by the Black Sea. Being raised in a working class family, she was shown how to fish at a very early age. It was one of her favorite things to do, and since it also fed and earned her family money, she was usually found soaring above the water. Athrenna was very playful, friendly, but being raised in a large family taught her how to also fight and stand up for herself.

She didn’t have big dreams, nor felt any tug to leave her village. She loved it, it’s people, and her life. Athrenna would often try to provoke Araudan to play with her, though the trickster Goddess didn’t seem to reply. As a child, she thought if she stuck by the water and tried enough, maybe one day Araudan would play.

The blue in her feathers didn’t appear until her late teens, and due to an attempted catch of a fish she lost a baby tooth early. She had a humble, but happy childhood!

I would read books about the Kuros in a heartbeat.

THANK YEWWW! it’s kinda why I’m pretty secretive about what the original lore’s ‘story’ would be, just in case I really do go for it. Like it would have similarities to WL/FD stories, buuuuuuuut it’d be way different as a whole tale. But first, I want to have the universe created and the rules made before i do the story. MAYBE ONE DAY ;3;
