Has there ever been a human portal master that was interested in the Black dragon lore?

Oh yes, plenty! Kaos’ family line were decedents of the humans that were spared from the Kurosian God’s wrath. Many, many humans wanted that sort of power, both magic and status, but since humans are so unreliable and greedy, the Gods killed and banished nearly all of them. So not many humans were allowed to be allies, many had to be sneaky and attempt to steal books and whatnot to gain a semblance of what the Kuros had, but also stay low so the Kuros or their allies would strike them down.

There were very, very few that the Kuros did take in as allies, however. Humans are also determined and stubborn much like the Kuros themselves, and the humans that showed a true understanding of the Kurosian way and the balance were taught the magic and treated as allies. But they were still very low in status, so they had no say in Kurosian politics, couldn’t marry or be paired with a Kuros, and many were viewed as parasites. Kaos’ original family line (on his mother’s side) came from this, and that’s also why Havok was the first human/kuros hybrid.

saffronaura:

“You think Cynder wants to be a good guy? I raised her to be evil and merciless. She’d never turn her back on her birthright. *to Cynder* Would you, kiddo? Would you, kiddo?! …Oh, honey. Everyone wonders if they’re good one time or another. But you know good and well your destiny lies in the Cadaverous Crypts, ruling by side.”

Skylanders Academy Malefor, evil father of Academy Cynder and dragon king of the Cadaverous Crypts. Voiced by voice actor veteran, Jim Cummings.

was the average number of eggs laid by a yehkshir per year

They don’t really do a ‘by yearly’ thing, they tend to breed every 100-150 years. Hunting for the perfect prey for them takes a while, but it’s also because 1 egg in every clutch (each clutch has around 50 eggs) is born a normal Yehkshir. So the mother raises that one to ensure it’s survival against prey, The Black Swords, and how to hunt properly. That typically takes 100-150 years to do, so once the newborn Yehky is all trained that’s when the mother abandons her and breeds again.

Olfur tend to take even longer, they’re pretty much eternal so they take their time finding the right prey, and picking the perfect nests. Olfur also have to deal with Black Swords more often as they hunt Olfur as top priority.

How do minor elements work, and does Feur have a minor element?

Minor elements are a secondary, but far weaker element that some Kuros can have. They’re usually combined with their Main to create a varient of the element. An example is like, a water elemental with a minor in fire can make scalding hot water breath. Or a wind elemental with a minor in earth can create sandstorms 😀

Nope! Not technically, she’s full Convexity but when she was growing up, her element was labeled “Aura” as her ability heavily depends on her emotional states. She can use typical magic as almost all Kuros can, but it’s not an element since her magical abilities aren’t anywhere near powerful enough to use in fighting. That kind of magic is basic stuff like clothing magic (manipulates fabrics to clothe a dragon body, Havok uses this the most as putting on something like a t-shirt is far too difficult), levitate some items (nothing too large), creating blood gems and other items, etc.
