I like the idea of Albino Kuros being a very rarely made light aligned Kuros, maybe made to spy on the Light?

It’s actually impossible for a pure-blooded Kuros to have the light element. Same for a Light Dragon. Kuros, even lighter ones, are all born with Darkness embedded within them. It’s in their blood, their bones, their elements, their boogers, their very souls. Light and Dark are the most contrasting of elements, like the repulsion of the same sides of a magnet. Their bodies and souls would be torn asunder; think Dr. Manhattan vs Rorschach from The Watchmen kind of messy.

Even the contrasting elementals usually have a hard time being around each other, even Havok and Luminous. That won’t make them explode but it’s palpable to them. Both Hov and Lumy had to get used to their contrasting auras to be friends.

Which is the biggest problem when it comes to Albino Kuros, again the lore. What makes a Kuros a Kuros and a dark scaled Chroma still a Chroma. Kuros aren’t just black dragons with metal bones, they are beings of Darkness tied to every fiber of their being including their scales. Baseline color, not including markings anyway. THIS IS FOR PURE BLOODED KUROS THO, I think I mentioned a long time ago that even I have a light elemental bab with kurosian heritage in mind but, he’s going to be a clusterfakk of genetics for that to even happen, poor thing x,D

Oh and trust me, the Kuros typically want nothing to do with the Light Dragons lol. They had enough on their plate running their own and doing their part to keep balance. Until Malefor fukked it up of course x,D

How did each of the Guardians die?

Infernacus – Athrenna took him on herself and tore out his throat. Athrenna also killed Nydia shortly after.

Volga – Was torn apart by the Silverwings while trying to lead the children and young dragons out of warfang. She was torn apart for having horns mocking Kuronium in the Silverwing’s eyes.

Klaudious – Child Feuriah led the Silverwings to him to distract them so Ignitus could sneak the children out of Warfang in Volga’s place.

Acerbus – Decapitation by Feuriah’s own Rolling Tail Strike attack to prove her loyalty to the Kuros.

Volga’s horns aren’t Kuronium, but are they any kind of metal, or do they just look like metal?

Anon that asked about Voteil here. Ewwouch ! I didn’t know he was killed that way, I just thought he had his head cut or bitten off. Which would still had been bad but y’know, a little faster and less painful. Also just to make sure, I didn’t say that to rush you, eh ? The whole ”heart pinch” thing was mostly meant as a pitiful joke.

Hey hon! Oh no worries, I didn’t feel like you were! But I get new followers who are unaware of my situation so I mention it from time to time, and I genuinely do feel bad for not being so active here as I used to be. I still have the gusto to keep going on everything, and there’s so many plots, comics, and lore I want to delve into. It’s a guilt I can’t help but feel and bring up, had nothin’ to do with you ‘rushin’ me 🙂

But yep! I had a mini comic planned of Voteil’s escape but we all know how long I take to do comics lmfao. Bad Seed is like what, a year old now? xD So much I wanna do, so little time!

In regards to the albino kuros post: what if their scales were gold or silverish as an albino? 030 It’s far enough away from white that it won’t be considered light element based (well, perhaps gold might not, but the silver maybe), but still odd enough to notice a difference between a normal breed. Just a thought! Especially since they’re both metals, and kuros bones are metal…if I remember correctly of course! Maybe you can use some other metals instead as inspiration for colors. 0v0

The visual isn’t really the thing that was the issue it was more of the lore. It’s still a thing I’ll iron out with time, but thank you so much for the suggestion!

The main reason being, the lighter the Kuros scales, the less darkness resides in them. The same goes for their Kuronium, at least with silver/grey Kuronium. The lighter they are the less Darkness. It’s not 100% true there are still lighter scaled/kuronium kuros but that’s the main idea. Most Kuros have a colored tint to their scales, but the lightest most can go is a dark grey. If the Kuros is a hybrid of a Chroma that can change their scale color but it wouldn’t really be albinism.

So you can see how the albino kuros would be a problem. It goes beyond genetics and more about lore of their realm.
