Whatever happened to Lord Stratosfear?

Holy forgettable characters batman, I totally forgot he was a thing at all 8o I had to look him up cuz I just did NOT remember him, wooooow

Honestly, know clue. I didn’t have any plans for him though the idea of the characters is neat enough to keep around for WL. He’d probably be smart enough to not mettle with Kaos or the Evil Empire out of sheer size and dominance they have.

Personality/Bio: She is both the metric by which the world will be judged, and the judge. Queen Map rose through the ranks, despite her age and falsely perceived weakness because of it, and became Queen of Kurosia. The only male to best her in battle, through his wits alone, was Kluh Hsart. Though the two would have ruled adequately as equals, Queen Map often took over ruling, and led her people on a path of random (but strangely very successful) destruction that would conquer many territories in their name. Her rule was not all marked with forward progression for her people, however. Especially after the untimely death of her only son, Nuahs, whom she mourned for deeply. After this, Queen Map would leave her people in the care of her gentler mate, Kluh, with her two main consorts, Eihcaor and Htrowsdoc, to wreak out bloody revenge (while still carrying the title of Queen of course). Not many are sure what happened to Map at the end of her life. Some say her power became too much, and transported her to a place beyond any mortal realm. Others say that she found peace, and paradise, with her consorts to keep her company for the rest of her days….

MOD: A collab between myself and @weirdlanders. She did the sketch and I just….Map consumed my every waking thought afterwards. SO: Queen Map Lanif’vel! Also, for those curious: Totally canon. All of it.

Coming up with this made us all cry, @lizzydizzydoodle was in the call too and we were all dying. I’m still dying, help us.

Just wanted to show you my kurobab ive been working on for a few days! I submitted a design to you before (shadow kuros shire with houndoom like bones) and i decided to revamp her look 😀 

Name: Aurwen

Meaning: Sunlight Maiden

Species: Kuros

Breed: Shire

Element: Fire(basic orange colour)

Element specialty: Able to superheat her kuronium to red hot levels, giving the ability to cut through most things

Age: Young adult (equivalent to a 24 year old)

Personality: outgoing, happy, can be shy, always an optimist, is prone to bouts of deep sadness and stress due to internalizing most negative. Suffers from anxiety and stress

Bio/History: Aurwen was the second born of a small Shire clan within kurosia’s main city. Her mother favored Aurwen’s older sister, who had shown her complete devotion to her people at a young age. 

Aurwen was pushed away and easily forgotten because of this, and this led her to often play by herself…most finding her too weird to interact with. Aurwen grew and became more shy and reclusive towards most other dragons…this led her mother to bouts of anger and abuse for aurwen not being like the other dragons her age. 

Aurwen soon found solace within her books, and developed a love for reading. Myths and history of her people was what interested her most. While in school, aurwen decided on going to college to work within the orphanages. When the day came to reveal this to her mother and sister, it was confessed that her older sister had already been accepted into a fine college for that very thing. 

Aurwen grew bitter and jealous over her sister, and decided to become a Silverwing, for she was a good flyer. Her mother tore that idea down, belittling Aurwen into a simple soldier occupation. Feeling down but not out, Aurwen sought extra help from her paternal grandmother, whom she had a deep bond with, for a boot to her abilities, leading to a rift to be torn between her mother and her. 

Shortly after her enrollment into the army as a foot soldier, she found herself being courted by a handsome Yinvaht. The two became mates and were inseparable. 

Aurwen was present during the attack on Kurosia by Malefor. She was on her regular patrol around the town when the chaos erupted from the veil. Stunned into a frozen state Aurwen watched as her people were caught and slaughtered by the apes. She flew into a fury, a deadly mix of blazing fire, super heated claws and fangs, and a lashing bladed tail. She fought valiantly for her kind, but eventually was overrun by the apes and her neck was slit. 

She can still be found down in the lost city, happily going along her appointed patrol route, humming a happy tune. A warm orange glow around her spectral form, but once she realizes she is dead, she lets out a wicked scream and superheats the air around her to blistering temperatures….before fading away.

MOD: Will add his bio info later! But for those who were wondering what Tarry looks like, here he be!!! Originally I had him listed as an Allus in one of my first asks regarding Melchior, but where’s the fun in that? Besides, Mel’s fur-tipped tail had to come from somewhere!

Also, to those curious: Yes, Tarry does become a Mahourian Priest. When he and Pania met, he had been considering it for years; he’d never really had much interest in fighting for a mating contract until he met her. But one look at all that gorgeous Ibby bod and he was like ‘woh.’ Not literally, but it was definitely an ‘infatuation at first sight’ thing that went both ways. Tarry still goes through becoming a Mahourian Priest, but ends up having to divvy up some of his duties to teaching Mel when his mother has to separate him from her school. (More on that later. Plot shit. It’s important.) Despite being wholly dedicated to his people, and being a damn good healer, teacher, and Priest as a whole, Tarry does still harbor some intense paternal feelings for Mel. (And for Pania. But those feels aren’t okay in Kuros society. Poor boy.)

Born like the rest, broken then molded into something she was never meant to be. Without her Fury abilities, born an Ice dragon like her father, she was given the name Acerna to compliment Acerbus, and his mother Aspurna. Acerbus had dreamed of being a father, but was a poor one. Controlling, manipulative, Acerna was forced to uphold her father’s impossible standards to be his trophy child to parade. All hopes and dreams of independence, a life for her to mold and lead, was smashed as a child. Becoming a distant, cold, indifferent adult training to be Acerbus’ replacement in the Guardian’s circle. 

Okay THIS was fun 😀 Imaging Feur hatching as an ice dragon instead of a fury elemental Kuros was different but kinda heartbreaking too. Acerbus always wanted to be a father for the worst reasons, not to have something to love but to have something to love him, to build up honor for him more then them. He wouldn’t be the worst father, just not a good one. 

I would like to think that she does eventually break from Acerbus’ mental hold on her thanks to Ignitus when she’s training to possibly become a Guardian, and thanks to him awakening the stubborn fight in her she drops out and follows another career of HER choosing. And this may just be the trash in me but I kinda like the idea that in this AU, her and Ignitus would be a thing. Could yall just imagine Acerbus’ anger 8,D

I kept her design close to Acerbus’, but still nodding to Yahvii’s disguise. I don’t know who her mother would be, not Yahvii since Yehkshir only give birth to Kurosian offspring so the Yahvii-ish aspects are more of a nod than accurate *shrugs* NONETHELESS this was real fun, thank you!

How was the Apple of his Eye comic suppose to end? And why id Kurogh scream at Cynder? She did nothing wrong.

I’m not really sure, it started as a random idea I wanted to doodle. It didn’t really have a thought out plot. I think she was just going to wake up and things would be fine, just her meeting her father’s spirit. It was just a oneshot comic for funsies, but of course I didn’t finish it 8,)

Ahaahhahaa she did nothing wrong… Yeah that’s Kurogh for you. He’s the dickiest butt, he doesn’t really need a reason. Though for that comic she was suppost to keep asking questions but I hadn’t finished.
