Wait, wasn’t Headshot supposed to have a crush on Whisper too ? ‘Cause I remember some art on your, now closed, other Skylanders blog that clearly indicated that he liked her quite a little more than just a friend.

Yes! At least, that was the old ship. But after a while both of us decided that it would be more fitting if Whisper hooked up with Havok in the end. Headshot is a precious bean but it felt more like he wouldn’t be interested in romance or finding a partner; rather he just likes collecting skulls and bones and will compliment anyone/get obsessed with someone only for their skulls xD

Tale As Old As Time – by Twisted-Wind

For years I wanted to commission Twisted-Wind, I’ve adored their sketches and of course their style but could never snag a slot. I attempted to claim a slot, but missed my chance. However, @ashdragon93 was so incredibly kind to give her slot to me. It’s all because of Ash that I was finally willing to show the girl that makes his big ol’ heart turn to mush, @askgrimcreeper / @lizzydizzydoodle‘s Whisper!

Since their relationship always gave us the Beauty and the Beast vibes, I asked Twisted to draw them as Belle and Beast in their ball attire. I absolutely love it, I cannot thank Twisted-Wind and @Ashdragon93 enough for this opportunity ❤

Hey. Thought I would come on and voice my opinions about your comics. But if that sketch format is easier and faster for you to make I would be fine with your comics being done like that. They don’t need to be all colored and inked for me to enjoy them, I’d love the story all the same. And I’m sure there are others who would agree with me.

Aw thank you so very, very much hon. I do appreciate this insight. 

When I started doing comics, they were for experimentation. Mostly to teach myself how to do it, challenge myself, etc. In college it was easy to doodle during lectures, but now on my own time I only take two days off a week to have me days. Usually Thursday and Sunday are days I can draw for myself, play games, etc. while other days are spent working on commissions.

I still want to challenge myself, and not slack on makings comics. Though, I kind of have to for time sake. It’s good for finding quick solutions to make things look passable, but even still a single comic page can take tons of hours for me to do. A goal I’d love to set for myself is to do a longer comic, like The Bad Seed, and complete it. I’m not a very fast artist sometimes, I wish I could pump out pages quicker, but I gots a ton on my plate. Tons of things i wanna do all at once 8,) 

BUT YEAH thank you so much for the insight hon. And for anyone else that’d like to share, I do appreciate it. Here’s hoping someday I get efficient enough to do comics at a decent pace 8,)

Apple of His Eye – pages 1-5

Had a lot planned for this comic, now that I look back on it. This… could be a thing I could continue, but greyscale color things to help save on time. It was a fun idea of Cynder getting to meet her father, Kurogh. Doesn’t seem like I put in the bubbles for the second to last panel, a lot of stuff needed redo but at this stage in my comic process, it’s all stand in, clunky simple stuff I come back to in the final stages 🙂
