Were any Kings or Queens of Kurosia in a polyamorous relationship?

Lost Queen : It’s a bit hard to explain, but in a way yes. All of them.

You see, King and Queens wed as a breeding pair to provide their people with the most genetically advanced offspring as possible. But also so each sex has a chance to rule. If there are more than one abled mate for the king or queen, they can breed with them if they so wish, but when it comes to love there’s no such thing. That, or it was never shown or revealed in public. Love was seen as a weak emotion that poisons a Kuros. But we did have other partners if we so wanted, since our wedding pact did not mean we were bound by love but instead law and fairness.

For example : Queen Anthrenna preferred females rather than males. She had plenty of female partners to spar with and be around. The King didn’t have any other partners that I know of, but he was a very secretive man. Anthrenna however still bred with the King when it was her duty to do so, but other than that the two didn’t care for each other’s company; kind of like Kurogh and I.

We’re there any same sex relationships amongst the kurosians? If so what were the common opinions on the mater and were their ever two queens or kings?

Lost Queen : Mhmm, same sex relationships happened all the time. Nobody thought twice about it, you see, our marriages or pairings aren’t for ‘love’ or even if you prefer a male or female. If you wanted to reproduce, which was important in our culture to have at least one clutch to help our population grow, you just fought for mate, had eggs, and bam done. The pairing isn’t forever, it’s just for the season.

The father usually left anyway to go about his way, so if the female had any lovers that were the same sex as her, they would help raise the children. Or even if a female or male didn’t want to reproduce, they find their places elsewhere in the city. Some dragons swing different ways, but that doesn’t matter as long as you loved your people and protected them.
