Lost Queen : Well… Kurosians and petrified evil have a mix-matched relationship. It would naturally manifest in the mountains closest to Kurosian settlements. We could create it ourselves if we wanted to, and we often did to smith into our armor. It would help strengthen our magic, give us reserves to fall back on if we run out of energy on the field.

But to take it into our own bodies… the results are not good. We lose ourselves and become mindless beings of instinct and rage. And with my fury powers unstable enough as they are… I couldn’t imagine the result would be beneficial to anyone. If anything, I’d probably just look really cool.

(( OOC : one day, I’d love to finish this but holy taataas the shading was already taking a million years and I had only done the face ;n; ))

Lost Queen : Yes… yes, we did. But it was one that I, personally, did not believe in.

As the centuries flew by, more and more of our people were killed. Some out of fear, others for our rare metal bones. Nonetheless, my people grew more nervous about our own end.

We were the legendary Kuros, black dragons born from the purest of darkness to serve the high purpose of keeping the eternal balance of good and evil intact. And yet, we were slowly being eliminated.

Eventually, only the great city of Kurosin’Laidirlon was left.

It made my people scared, to say the least. We grew desperate, begging our gods to help. They listened, and all protected our great and powerful city. They promised us a savior, a dragon of purple, to save the Kuros from extinction.

We were aware of the purple dragons of legend, and so, our people prophisized that a purple dragon will oen day come to us, and save us. Not just save us, but they would lead us to victory over those who had killed us, and immerse their land into eternal darkness for their crimes agains’t the balance.

By the time I joined my people as a child, this prophecy was already three centuries old. Growing up, this prophecy… felt odd to me. It had an eerie ring to it, a bad feeling that nobody else seemed to feel would make my very bones grow cold. But, I kept this to myself.

Then, the day came when he appeared.

I was Queen, and I was with my first clutch when that damned purple bastard appeared from the Veil. Oh how my city rejoiced, our savior of legend was here to deliver us from certain death. Nobody was as taken with him than my King, Kurogh. He welcomed him to our city and praised him as a God, and our people worshipped him. All, but me.

Right from the start, I knew his true intentions. He did not care for my people. We were a means to an end, tools for his own goals. He was not sent by our gods, but our gods were… eerily silent about him. Almost as if they could do nothing about him. So I took it upon myself to save my people from his wrath.

that bastard, that honorless, selfish demon…

was Malefor.

an eye for a heart

this is wip image i’ve been working on of arkeyan Spyro and the lost Queen . with kaos now capture and the Queen feeling alone arkeyan spyro has chunk of traptanium and is convincing the queen that she should take her revenge and go capture there portalmaster. and with Dusty out of the way the arkeyan goal well go as plane.

OOC : Shits about to get reeeeeeeeeeeeal son! >:D

Lost Queen : I thought the same when I first met him; I found him irritating and irrational, but after spending years with him I’ve learned otherwise. I’ve seen what he can do, and when we work together, Skylands trembles in our wake.

You may see him as nonthreatening, but I know otherwise. Skylands bases so much on appearance, so much so they don’t see the real threat within him. Some have learned to not underestimate him, as you should do yourself.

My Queen, you said before that Spyro took on the form of a Kurosian. How could this be? What did you mean by it?

Lost Queen : A lot of the Skylanders have done this, and honestly it fills me with such anger I nearly lose myself to my fury.

Spyro in particular was nearly consumed by Darkness, which somehow turns him into a Kuros-look-alike. But he controlled his inner darkness, and has the audacity to use it to fight evil. It’s… beyond insulting to me and my people.

What was the rarest Kurosian Element?

Lost Queen : Not to toot my own horn but… honestly I think mine. I didn’t meet another Kuros with ‘fury’ specific powers. I’ve met others who were strong with their own auras, able to use them similarly to how I use my fury to breathe into concentrated streams and strengthen my physical attacks. But not fury. I wasn’t really treated any differently because of it; actually, it was harder to train since nobody shared my element.
