Physical Description :
Natural Form : An upright being, with no body to speak of from the waist down. Usually this is a cloudy tail that sprouts from the tip of her lamp. She sports features somewhere between a feline and a canine, and striking black and white markings. Always seen wearing golden cuffs, two golden earrings, and a thick black collar, from which hangs either a tag with the Draconic Royalty Seal on it, or her lamp.

Personality : Completely insane. Has lapses of forgetfulness, insane, violent rage, and just when you think she’s going to kill everyone her power can reach (which is quite a lot), she’s all sunshine and daisies. She is so old that she’s lost her moral code, and has no concept for what is right or wrong, save for what her current Master tells her. She can never go against an order, or not grant a wish, though she does not hide her hatred for some of her Masters. She does, however, hold her current Master, The Lost Queen, in very high regard, and has never shown any violence towards her, and acts as friendly as a completely insane genie can towards the Queen of the Kuros. She shows a great deal of respect to Havok, and even to Cynder, though after the latter’s betrayal to The Lost Queen, doesn’t bother to hide her distaste for the act.

Backstory: Millennia upon millennia ago, a soul was bound to a lamp. The soul was fused with a piece of the cosmos, and thus, Majidah was remade. Eternally cursed to bend to the will of each new Master, she hopped from world to world, galaxy to galaxy, slowly forgetting everything about herself, until all that remained was the blunt knowledge that she held the capability to destroy the entire universe, but was too insane to do so.

Only recently has this creature been seen again, in the possession of The Lost Queen, and to a lesser extent, Kaos. She goes by the moniker of ‘Koof,’ claiming her ‘real name is far too complex to be uttered ‘pon mortal tongue.’ A master of Magic, her true potential has yet to be tapped into, as the ‘Emperor’ and Queen have yet to decide how to use her to their best advantage.

Truth be told, Majidah couldn’t care who she works for. Her very essence is bound to her lamp, and she’s just along for the ride as she switches from ‘master’ to ‘master.’ She can come off as sarcastic and harsh, though she does not wish any sort of harm on any creature. But if one were to end up on her bad side…it would not be pretty.

Majidah and The Lost Queen: It is unknown how The Queen came upon Majidah’s lamp, just that one day it wasn’t in her possession, and the next, it was. Being no fool and an entirely cunning creature, The Queen keeps the genie’s lamp, and summons her forth. Their first meeting is awkward, to say the least; it has been five hundred years since Majidah has spoken to anyone, besides herself, and she has forgotten any current tongue. It takes some days, but eventually, she gets a sound out that seems close to The Queen’s tongue: ‘Koof.’ So, aside from calling her Djinn, The Queen calls her new servant Koof, who takes to it warmly.

She is there before the tentative forays into a relationship starts between The Mistress and Kaos, self proclaimed Emperor of Evil. Majidah does not understand this strange relationship, but encourages it early on, knowing the twisted and black heart of The Mistress and what it yearns for. This results in a playful back-and-forth between the two, strengthening the bond until they trust one another wholly. While Majidah has no interest either way who wins the End Battle, The Mistress’s alignment is hers, so to all intents and purposes, she happily serves the villainous side of things.

Their trust is so great that The Mistress allows her Djinn to venture where she pleases, though she does not often stray too far. Once Havok, the child of The Mistress and Kaos is born, The Queen makes it clear that Majidah is to watch out for him. He has many enemies from the moment he is born, and though the gargoyles are powerful, they do not have the power of the cosmos on their side. Out of her loyalty to her, and to keep her next Master alive, she wholly accepts this role. Though she does make life hard on Havok from time to time, teasing the boy and terrorizing him with the lewd details of his parents’ ‘alone time.’

Majidah and Havok: As it were, ‘Koof’ or ‘Djinn’ was there from Havok’s conception to his birth, and remained until he was a young adult. She has never raised a child, never been bound to one, but he brings out a more maternal side in her, and despite her insanity, learns to care for the boy like a mother would. Havok, like his mother, sees her usefulness, and her loyalty to his people, and respects her as well as one aligned to the darkness can.

Despite caring for him, a hiccup in her memory and a changing of Masters leaves Djinn with a sudden, deep hatred for Havok when he acquires her once more. She grants his wishes, to be sure, but forgets the time between him losing her to the Skylanders, the time she is taken back by him, and why she hates him so. This leads to some conflict between the two, though she never threatens him with violence, nor any of his own, despite an intense desire to.

Majidah and Cynder: Self awareness comes to Koof when Cynder returns to her mother’s side. As with Havok, she is instructed to protect The Queen’s daughter, and takes to calling her ‘The Little Mistress.’ Unlike her relationship with Havok, that between Cynder and Majidah never goes beyond that of master-and-servant.

When Cynder betrays The Lost Queen and Kaos to Eon and his Skylanders, Koof does not bother to hide her distaste for this. But it does not stick for long, as the genie understands Kuros have lost their sense of honor, and so she tells it when Cynder steals her lamp from Havok. Despite her strong loyalty to The Lost Queen, Koof is bound to grant Cynder’s whims, though she will often resort to using ‘the genie clause’ when she does so: she grants the wish, but usually with dire, twisted consequences, if the wishes are not specific enough.

Trivia:

  • Majidah cannot think coherently, but her actions always seem sane and very carefully measured. Some affect her mind to think in a more sane way, but the only one so far is The Mistress herself….and one Skylander.
  • She will often break the fourth wall, quoting media, disrupting the flow of time, etc., whenever she feels like it. She claims she was born out of a love for Disney’s Aladdin, more specifically, the character Genie.
  • When summoned, Koof appears instantly at her Master’s side. The Tether, as she calls it, will always pull her back to her lamp, and she can only stray so far from it, but when her Master has need of her, no matter the distance, she will come to them.
  • Majidah has no choice but to grant the wishes of her Master, even if it means hurting others, which she does not relish. That being said, she can be extremely violent, though only when truly angered.

Lost Queen : Everyone, this is my Djinn Koof. Treat her warmly, or fear her, your choice ❤ or your mistake, ehehehehe.
