razzretina:

While it’s half-assed dragons o’clock, here’s an unfinished Berserker sketch. Decked out in full armor and getting ready to murder the crap out of somebody. o_o Yes, she hit that Kuros boy so hard it cracked his metal horns off, too. o_o Like the Pariah, Berserker can’t fly. She has wings but she’s too bulky to get off the ground with them; she uses them like extra hands in her forge, though. 🙂

The Kuros belong to Weirdhyena. 🙂

What was the architecture, the city, of Kurosia like?

OOC : Actually, lawl, I’ll answer this one 🙂 Since it’s quite a task  for Feur to describe it without imagery.

I am HORRENDOUS and drawing full scale cityscapes. Close ups I can do, hints I can do, but to show the whole of Kurosia how I pictured it… maybe one day x,D But, until then, the best I can really do is provide references I’ve saved up over the years to help me in my countless attempts.

Kurosia itself has been described by the Queen before here from her point of view.

I based most of the castle itself off of Gothic Architecture, like this

Kurosians mostly used black stones and marble to build their castle, with stained windows and incredibly decorated in furnishings.

Another inspiration that really hit of late was the Drangleic Castle from Dark Souls 2. The feel, architecture, and even stones used to make up the castle greatly reflected how I saw the Kurosian Castle.

lastly, the most accurate depiction of Kurosia that has been drawn was from a commission I received from a good friend, DragonCid over on dA for the original version of Feuriah’s story in the Legend of Spyro universe.

I hope that helps! One day I hope to actually draw Kurosia in full, or at least in parts. I can try for some scenes, but for now, this is the best I can provide ^u^

Lost Queen : Pff the best you can provi-

Betch don’t make me make your story more sad, I’LL DO IT

Lost Queen : 8X

Yein Uch’Drafiur (pronounced Ye-in, Aa-ch’ Dre (rolling ‘r’), lee-fer, sounding close to “Ach Jennifer”. Translating to ‘Adoptive Sister’, “drafiur” meaning sister while adding ’uch’ means that the other is an addition to the family but not blood related.

// OOC : fun fact; most of the Kurosian language is heavily based off of Irish, Gaelic, Norwegian, and sometimes Finnish languages. I lean more closely to Irish/Gaelic, as a great deal of my family and inlaws are Irish ❤ The phrase above is a mash-up of “adoptive sister’ in Irish.

Lost Queen : Kurosia had many strange native species, but as for rare…

The Uka (top) dwelled mostly in caves and dark shadows, which of course, was aplenty on our beautifully evil mountain. However, they had a tendency to prey upon us. Their tails were able to hypnotize us, therefor we hunted them to near extinction. They still dwell in the areas around our city, though rare enough that I’ve never seen one myself.

Plant wise, the Praying Venus plants were only kept in the castle. There were a few on the mountain but, they were of course rare. We kept them in our gardens to eat any varmints from getting to our plants. Or, we’d offer them as gifts to other villains that pledge themselves. I actually had a few myself, nippy creatures they were. They too used to prey on us, but after one of our Queens killed theirs, they happily offered their services ( moreso to save their own lives but, I digress ).
