“Next time we meet, we end this.”

“AWAY FROM HIM, HUMAN!” came a booming yowl. Dusty turned just as a pair of flaming purple eyes came shooting toward him from the darkness. The Lost Queen, in all of her infuriated rage, lunged at him with her maw opened. Metallic fangs hungry to pry him away from the little portal master he was threatening. It was one thing to fight Kaos, but the mother of Cynder was a challenge all on it’s own…

OOC: QuickTron over on Deviantart has some awesome, inventive, and imaginative art over on dA that I really enjoy. I was a derp and wasn’t following for the longest time, but I’ve been following his kickass arts from time to time and I love how stylized and unique his art and stories are. After his most recent one, Next Time We Meet, I just couldn’t help myself to doodle a little somethin 😉 Naw it’s not canon or anything, it was just a wee bit of fanart spurts!

Lost Queen, this is a serious question. Does it bother you to know that your mate is human and your children half-human? What I mean by that is, you’re a full-blooded dragon; you are going to live a lot longer than they will. Kaos being the first to die of old age, seeing as he’s pure human. Your offspring will live longer than he, but not by much. A good 200-300 years before they give up their ghosts. Eventually… you will be alone once more.

Lost Queen : This might seem strange but… no. Kurosian relationships don’t often feel love, but if they do, they must realize that most Kuros don’t live past 200. They often die in battle. You must cherish every second of your time with your mate, for you never know when they’ll pass. Your time might be short with them, so appreciate them while they’re still with you.

It’s the same with Kaos. Yes… I love him, and it might be weird for a dragon to love a human. I love him for his confidence, and our history of being rejected. We feed off each other, and we might fight a lot, but we need each other. He’s an odd human, but I love every second with him. Humans live longer in Skylands, but not as long as dragons. I don’t expect to outlive Kaos that long, but while I’m with him, I appreciate every moment with him. He’s treated me better than Kurogh ever hoped to, hell Kaos saved my life before. Our relationship is strange to most, but we love each other for who we are. We were gifted to have children, and they are the result of our unity. Weird for a villain to speak this way but… it’s my thoughts. I love my children with all my heart, wether they’re half-breed or not. They are strong, gifted children.

I may eventually be alone again, but I don’t expect I’ll be alone for long.

Lost Queen, I hear that Havok wears a set of Kurosian armour, but what would it have looked like on a actual Kurosian? Your son is bipedal, and is fairly humanoid in his physical build, so I’m kinda curious as to how it would look on an full Kurosian dragon, as well as the standard infantry (or legionaire of whatever you call the average soldier). ME IS INTERESTED. <3

Lost Queen : Every soldier has a unique set of amor usually built from the bones of their own family tree or at least re-worked family armor. A typical grunt’s armor looks like this for the most part. Petrified Darkness gems are carved from the Kurosian’s own darkness aura and set into their armor to help aide them in battle and enforce both their armor’s strength and the strength of their spells. Each Kurosian has a set of battle talons added to their own claws, and knives on their wings.

We had a handful of specialized squadrons, such as the Silverwings, which had armor of just bright Kuronium instead of the darkened like shown above.  The Silverwings had body types more fit for speed, therefor their armor often fit so closely on them they often appeared to have been painted on. We also had Titans, which were the more tank-built Kurosians that focused more on ground combat, and would often have crossbows or even guns attached to their shoulders.

*ahem* excuse me I’m rambling, but yes this is what our typical grunt soldiers looked like for the most part 😀

After weeks of waiting and hinting… here she be ;u;

Say hello to little Hysteria! She’s not creepy at all, eh? 😀 Such an innocent lil hellspawn, I mean look at those eyes and adorable lil pointy smile ❤

So there you have it, Kaos and his wee kiddies Havok and Hysteria! Hiss, for short ;D

((PS I’ve totally been watching too much Nostalgia Critic, so I couldn’t help but throw in that reference >u> ))

Lost Queen, do you have any fond memories of siblings, parents, or other family members while growing up? What was it like being a kid in the Kurosian city?

Lost Queen : I didn’t have a lot of fond memories from Warfang, I had some but… it’s best to just not think about it all. My childhood in Kurosia was simply amazing. It didn’t matter that I had no parents, I killed my father in Warfang and never found out who my mother was. In Kurosian culture, the whole society raises the children alongside the parents. Since I didn’t have parents, I was raised in an orphanage kind of building close to the castle.

After I met the Queen, I wanted nothing more than to be just like her. *chuckles* I do have some fond memories with the other children of the city, we’d play in the marketplace with the largest fountain in Kurosia. I’d always pretend to be the Queen and rule the other children into battle, and sometimes the adults would play too. Even the soldiers would stop their patrols and pretend with us!

My culture is evil, sure, but we took care of our own. We were a tight-knit people, we loved each other and took pride in our place in the shadows. I will never cease my battle with the Skylanders until I’ve avenged every single soul lost in my city.
