Before battle, the soldiers would build morale by singing in the guttural ancient Kurosian tongue.
Not only did it bring the soldiers closer to each other by calling upon Mara and bringing them a sense of unity, they would normally do it close enough to their enemies’ encampments that they could hear it. Often, the Kurosian songs would be the dirges for opposing armies, and instill fear in them just by the sheer power and harmony of the songs. Sometimes it would spurn some of the weaker minded ones into just giving up before the battles began on hearing it.
Males and females took part in the singing, and had varying ranges in pitch. There are various songs that pay homage and call upon the will of the Gods, although one of the more popular songs was ‘The Lay of Mahoura,’ which was led by the General and accompanied by the rest of the army.
Legend has it that the song might have been written by one of the first Kings of Kurosia, on the eve before the first conquest attempt by the Kurosians. It is said that he passed on after singing the song with his men, with the song still on his lips. Though no physical record exist of its origin, and though it is taught to all Kurosians in their youth, one of Kurosian blood need not be taught the words to know it down into their soul.
The Lay of Mahoura
Hear, mother of Love.
Your Children call thee!
Your sons and daughters,
Call ‘pon thy power.
Tie fast our hearts,
Thou our Mahoura.
E’er your Children,
E’er family true.
Mahoura, we call on thee;
To forge our minds and souls.
Guide us, Mother of All,
To dawn together.
Your Children forever,
Thou who hast carried,
Born and birthed,
All those before us.
Guide us, Mother of All.
Bind our souls to one,
That your love extend
To all that will come.
All Mother,
Protect and guide us.
Love cometh and end with thee,
From Our hearts as one.
(Stanza loosely based on Heyr himna smiður, an Icelandic hymn that translates to “Hear, Smith of heavens,” by Kolbeinn Tumason. Listen to the original song here!)

Cynder’s jewelry is made out of Kurogh’s bones. After his death, Malefor kept Kurogh’s body for himself, briefly considering making it into a trophy or a living-dead puppet servant of sorts. After a while, though, he decided to mock the Kurosian ways and used Kurogh’s bones to make the collar and wrist cuffs that Cynder wears today.
Up until Malefor died, the cuffs and collar were used as a physical form of mind control. Now that Malefor is gone, sometimes Cynder can hear the whispers of her father’s tortured soul in her nightmares, most notably his final moments at his murderer’s claws.
// OCC : ….welp! This is actually true! Cynder’s jewelry is made out of her father’s bones, congratulations!

Nowhere near a scanner atm, but I figured you’d like to see Talulla so far.
(( OOC : oh mai gawd she’s a beauty!!!! ))
OOC: well how I see the lost queen is someone who wants to look evil but yet they have a mind of a hero yet they chose to follow a path that was not made for them and they are trying to force themselves to look evil just because of something that happened in the past and is long gone but they never forget it and they have a taste for revenge. when these type of villains are approached about them being evil they defend their title of being evil and they try to convince everyone they ARE evil even though they may be but they still are full of regret and doubt yet they are full of pride and hatred that they keep going on the path of evil. the only way to make them go to the good side is to gain their friendship and tech them that those who had bullied them where wrong and they they should never had done such a thing. Well that is my opinion anyways……(( man im deep thinking today XD))

So while I know things with Volteal aren’t good, I doodled him one day in an attempt to break art block. Along with an attempted idea as to what a trained Seuth’s robes would look like … if they wore robes. .-. Do they…?
//OOC : Omg Voteil! I adore how he looks, and the robes are clever, i love em!!! aw thank you so much ❤
Black Luck felt very bad for her friends, such as Cynder, who was disowned by her own mother for betraying her, Grim Creeper and Dizzy Doodle, who were very angry at the queen for taking in their son Viril, and Spyro, Drobot, and Grilla Drilla, whom the Lost Queen try to injure, though Grilla Drilla was brutally attacked the most by her because of her hatred for monkeys.
Black Luck decided to get revenge on the Lost Queen herself, which resulted on the battle between them. When Black Luck was about to kill the wounded queen, she then gave up because she doesn’t want to do it, but will not forgive the Lost Queen for what she had done. So Black Luck just walked away without a word. After she was gone, the gargoyles found the queen wounded and was taken back to her castle and was nursed back to health, then Queen said if she sees Black Luck again, she would kill her..
Meanwhile, Black Luck was back home, Cynder wanted to talk to her about what happened, but she doesn’t want to talk about it.
