The Werewolves are regenerative… to a point. All it took was a moment, a sliver of distraction, and Yahvii took advantage of it. Struck December away from Niko’s side, and all he could do was watch his mate be torn in two. Yahvii tossed the bottomhalf, and devoured her top. Ensuring that December would be gone, for good.
OOC : He does, yeah. His pack is pretty much assigned to keeping up with Yahvii, though in his meantime he’d hunt other Yehkshir too. The Black Swords’s sole purpose is to eliminate as many Yehkshir as possible, and while the Olfur do come back, there will always be hunters chasing her tail.
Besides, pretty useful for farming materials when they keep coming back eh? x,D
Niko is pretty happy to hunt Yahvii down again and again, after December’s death he has quite the grudge for her.
OOC : Indeedy do! Feuriah’s egg was the only purple one of the clutch, but that was expected by Yahvii. Doesn’t mean she’s Yehkshir herself (oh lawd imagine Warfang’s reaction if a freakn Yehkshir hatched instead of a Shire Kuros x,D ).
Feuriah is, or was, the first Kuros to be born with the Convexity element as her sole element. The Kuros themselves didn’t even know what her abilities were, as only the purple dragons could breathe convexity previously. Those of Feuriah’s bloodline are able to use Convexity, which would explain how Cynder was able to use it.
For Weirdlanders, Havok and Hysteria don’t have the ability, however. They have their own benefits, as Havok can manipulate all elements but light (he’s not a portal master, but close. He could rival that of the purple dragons I suppose, but again he can’t use Convexity). Hysteria has an impeccable connection to the Darkness that makes her powerful, that and she’s a portal master.
OOC : Nah, they can change their eyes too. Yahvii was simply cocky with her abilities. Kind of how Niko was able to find her in Warfang x,D

Birthday gift for @thornacious featuring Inbarrnán (Yehkshir believed to be responsible for giving Kuros the water ability), Yahvii (Feuriah’s mommah) and some random normal Yehkshir!

Aurora : I don’t know much about them, but from what they told me, they were a secretive band of werebeasts that had dedicated their lives to hunting the Yehkshire.
I only met three of them, but there were many many more in their pack. They were led by a werehyena named Nikolios, his mate December, and their rather rude and aggressive beta Rashida. I liked Niko, he was serious when he needed to be, but he at least smiled and was friendly toward me. December was cold… no pun intended. I tried to visit her dreams but all I ever saw was cages, blackness, and wolves fighting. Rashida… I could never go near, even in dreams. It was like she hated everything, like she was always angry.
Niko’s family had been hunting Yahvii for generations. His bloodline had been chosen to take on the task of slaying Yahvii, as each clan of these hunters apparently were given specific ‘head yehkshire’ to kill. Niko’s family had been killed by Yahvii, leaving him as the last of his bloodline. So he went out and found werewolves to join him in his purpose.
That’s all that he told me… December refused to tell me anything of where she originated, and Rashida only bit at me. They didn’t care about me or my Mistress, Niko was nice but… he didn’t care about Warfang or the fate of dragons. They just wanted to kill Yahvii, or any other Yehkshire and her eggs. I had tried to get them to join my Mistress’ cause for the special egg, but they swore they’d destroy the nest once they found it. So it was up to me to save the special egg.
??? : The one called “Yahvii”, yes. She was given purpose, but it was for her own kind, not for Warfang. My mistress hoped that the special egg would see beyond that, but the living ruined it. I do not know what happened to Yahvii after the hunters found her nest, if the hunters succeeded in slaying her, or if she escaped and rejoined the other Yehkshire in that Veil.
