Lost Queen : It certainly wasn’t… pleasant. But no, I was much more in control of my powers back then. I had trained for decades for a situation such as that, but it happened just so… suddenly. One moment I was smiling at him, ready to take on our first real fight, the next… gone. But I had to listen to my orders, so I continued with the attack under command of our sergeants. I did fight as hard as I could to avenge Kruta’s death, I can assure you.

Lost Queen : Well there was Talv, but he was the only one I knew of. Very, very mellow dragon from what I remember, worked in the blacksmithing forge down in the city. Beautiful horns, but he didn’t seem to thrilled about them…er, or anything. His family came from a cave-dwelling tribe deep in the Kurosian mountains rumored to have been slain by a pack of Uka, but he, like many who come from slain clans, didn’t speak about it. He seemed to have a sense of humor though, he was really good at telling jokes with a straight face.

Talv is the most fabulous dragon you will ever see! Look at His horns!! THEY ARE MADE FROM RAINBOW!!!!!

OOC : OH MY GAWD I NEVER SAW THIS HOLY SHIT IT’S BEAUTIFUL

Lost Queen : Well… Kurosians and petrified evil have a mix-matched relationship. It would naturally manifest in the mountains closest to Kurosian settlements. We could create it ourselves if we wanted to, and we often did to smith into our armor. It would help strengthen our magic, give us reserves to fall back on if we run out of energy on the field.

But to take it into our own bodies… the results are not good. We lose ourselves and become mindless beings of instinct and rage. And with my fury powers unstable enough as they are… I couldn’t imagine the result would be beneficial to anyone. If anything, I’d probably just look really cool.

(( OOC : one day, I’d love to finish this but holy taataas the shading was already taking a million years and I had only done the face ;n; ))

Voteil : Not all the spirits in the city are crazed, however. Some are just spirits locked in a forever loop of their final days. If you wait by certain places, stand completely still, the spirits will visibly act out their day! Just um… don’t interact with them. If they pick up something is off, that attracts the bad ghosts…

Lost Queen : The Mahourian Brothers and Sisters were the most holy of all the priests and priestesses. Mahoura was believed to be our first God, therefor, the mother of all the other Gods and of us as a species. She is not the most powerful, but the most sacred.

To be a brother or sister within the walls of Mahoura’s temple is to completely give yourself to her teachings and to your people in a way most Kurosians could not. They dedicated their lives to the scriptures to educate our people of not just Mahoura, but also the Yehkshir and basic knowledge of the other Gods. The lead priest or priestess had a chair in the Dark Circle, which consisted of all the lead religious heads of each temple to provide the King and Queen advice and offer their services for battles.

To give yourself to the temple is incredibly noble and admirable, and to be honest… if I could not become Queen, I would have either worked to be a Scribe of the court, or a Mahourian Sister.

Mahourian brothers and sisters did not fight in war. Instead, they’d linger at the camps to help give wounded soldiers moral support, and to fill them with Mahoura’s love and essence. They would also help end suffering of those soldiers too wounded to survive.

They were not chosen by Mahoura persay, nor are they granted with special abilities. Rather, it’s an incredible love of their own people. Those that wish nothing more than to preserve what was our people, and to help them, became Mahourian. The Mahourian temple was also very closely linked to hospitals and other healing factions, such as medical education and colleges. Most doctors were Mahourian, but not all.
