MOD POST:

So, after weirdlanders posted an answer regarding dragons who were kind to her in Warfang, I decided to introduce my first dragon-y steps into the Skylanders fandom.

A long time ago, I made an Earth Dragon. Gaea was first pitched as a friend to Feuriah, in the original The Legend of Spyro universe.

Because I myself understand the hardships of being picked on and bullied when I was a child, my heart went out to Feuriah, who I found out through her creator would happen in abundance, I created this gal. Gaea and Feuriah share a close bond as children, teenagers, and after that, I’m not too sure. I’d like to say that Gaea will always call Feuriah her good friend, and in fact, saves her daughter from an untimely death.

In the Skylanders Universe, it’s just as The Lost Queen tells it. When they were younger, and before she became evil, Gaea and Feuriah were friends. Gaea witnessed Feuriah tear down Warfang, after years of being subjected to the verbal, physical, and emotional abuse at the hands and claws of its citizens. While she tried to protect her friend when they were younger, she could only do so much, and could not be there by her side all of the time.

Gaea felt somewhat to blame for some of the abuse, as she herself was born ‘deformed.’ The red glove on her forepaw is actually a prothstetic, made of magic stone that she can shape at her will. She felt that because she was a target, and most of the time could be found with the the future Lost Queen, the abuse would only be doubled. It is this, in part, that leads her to never seek out vengeance against The Lost Queen in later years, as well as a deep fondness for her old friend.

On the Shimmering Isles, she is careful to tell the younger ones that while they have the potential to be dangerous, The Kurosians are not demonic beings. More, a race of dragons who lead a more violent lifestyle, who have potential that not even the great scholars of old could pen down. She is deeply saddened when eventually she hears news that the Kurosians were wiped out, all but one: The Lost Queen. Perhaps one day she might try to leave The Shimmering Isles to speak to her, and reconcile the past, but that is uncertain.

I’m giving consideration to making Gaea a guest-star on this blog. Or perhaps making her a separate blog all her own. For now, I’ll tentatively say that yes, she will be a guest-star on this blog.

So there you have it! Gaea is indeed my character, as well as Majidah/The Djinn/Koof.

Character Name : Asiirha (AH-Sear-HAH)
Nicknames: Inky
Gender : Male
Age : Unknown, Ancient Dragon
Species : Kurosian Dragon
Relationships : Separated from first mate
Children : The Wyrm Matriarch
Role: Anti-Villain (has committed incredibly villainous acts, against his will, gaining himself a villain’s reputation)
Nationality : Born and raised in Kurosia
Homeworld : Unknown
Element : Dark Magic – Specializes in Shadow Magic: Imitating other Elements, traveling through shadows, and completely cloaking himself in them to remain hidden to the naked eye

Personality : Passionate, Honorable, Stoic, Confident, and Calm. Once an Overseer of Shadow in Warfang, it is said that his true personality shines through when he is surrounded by whelps: not a kinder individual among the Kurosians can be seen. He has in him a great deal of conflict, due to wanting to ensure the prosperity and unity of his people with all other Dragonkind, and occasionally has bouts of great anger that can wipe out entire armies.

Backstory

Asiirha was raised among royalty, side-by-side with the future king and his rookery mates. He is a rarity amongst the Shire, born with ‘Obsidian Kurosian Metal,’ a mark of a great and powerful Shadowmancer amongst their kind. Thus he is trained, and he is also feared. At an early age, he does not understand this, and lived the normal life of a child in Kurosia. It is not until he reaches the early days of his teenaged years that he began to grasp the gravity of his position, and how utterly he is feared and respected.

It is on the eve of this realization that he is betrothed. Unlike most of his kind, who would battle prospective mates to near-death, Asiirha’s birth is cause for special circumstances. He is intended to marry the future Matriarch of Fear, one of the rarest elements in all of Skylands, and he is whisked away for decades to be raised by her side.

Ruxandara was a bitter and quiet girl. She does not make any attempts at being his friend, or even trying to like him at all. Asiirha, to his part, attempted to make things easier for her. He was nothing but kind to her, and she is nothing but cruel, and nasty. When she wasn’t either of those she ignored him, so he turned instead to getting to know her people.

The Fear Dragons, or the ‘Aryos’ as they called themselves, were also a proud and strict people. But they relied on their powers rather than carving a path through the world via battle in order to gain respect from others, though their violence is close second in Dragon Society by the Kuros’. He never quite befriended any of them, but became a point of fascination for them, as their powers could not affect him. Some accredited it to his ‘Obsidian Bones,’ others to the fact that his intended was the future Matriarch.

While some in Kurosia would have relished their mix of fear and respect for him, their awe instead displeased him. He did not want to have their respect because of his power, or the lack of power they held over him. Instead, he wanted to earn it, and to befriend other dragons of like minds.

It is this train of thought that eventually leads him to ask his fiance to travel Skylands with him. She eventually agrees, longing to find a way out of her marriage somewhere beyond her people, and so they travel together. During their travels they meet another rare Elemental dragon: Atropine, leader of the Poison flock. He joined them on their trek, until they eventually came to Warfang.

The alliance between the Kuros and those of Warfang was tentative at best. But Asiirha’s demeanor and his two allies, dragons those in Warfang had never before witnessed, granted them entry. Over the years the three formed bonds within the city, gaining enough respect through deeds rather than birth. Eventually, they were asked to join The Guardians, as Overseers of their own Elements. Asiirha and his comrades accepted, and that was the beginning of the end.

Asiirha eventually betrayed Warfang to join Malefor, and was banished from their good graces. They were given shelter in Kurosia, but Asiirha found he could not enjoy his homecoming. Though he and Ruxandara were wed, his true heart remained in Warfang, held unbeknownst even to his love, in the talons of the Wind Guardian’s niece. Ruxandara used the powers she had accumulated over the years to seal him to her side, to curse him so that he could not do that which was not her will.

And so it was that he betrayed not only those in Warfang, but also his own kind.

Malefor and his Apes, as well as Ruxandara and Atropine’s peoples, attacked Kurosia, wiping out all of the Black Dragons. But Malefor turned on the Overseers in a final act of dominance, though once Ruxandara was murdered, and her hold on him broken, Asiirha fled to The King and Queen’s castle. It was there that he found The Queen in a destroyed nest, weeping over the loss of her children. He begged her to leave with the survivors, eventually dragging her away from the betrayal he could not bring himself to admit to.

During their escape, he fled, unable to face his shame and self-loathing, placing himself into self-exile. None yet know where he resides, though it is clear he punishes himself greatly….

Malefor and Asiirha

Truth be told, there was not much of a relationship between the undead dragon king and Asiirha. Even during those early days, Asiirha was under Ruxandara’s control, and all of his interactions with Malefor were at her whim. During the murder of the Puros and Aryos leaders, however, Asiirha managed to mortally wound Malefor, and it’s rumored that the Purple Dragon never walked the same way again.

The Lost Queen and Asiirha

A great deal of guilt surrounds Asiirha about The Lost Queen. Not only did he betray his own people, but he ultimately was the cause of the death of her unborn children. If he had resisted, even the slightest bit, one or more of his kin could have broken her spell….

And her whelps would have survived.

When she was first brought back to Kurosia, Asiirha was wone of those tasked with introducing her to their laws and moral code. Five decades older than her, he looked to her like he did any of the younger dragons, though she held a special place in his mind and heart from day one. For he understood what it was like to grow up being treated differently, and understood the anger she held in her heart from being treated thus.

He was witness to her Mating Fight with Kurogh, and there to help them both tend to their wounds after they were declared fit to be mates. Asiirha confessed to her, teasingly, if he had not been mated, he might have challenged her himself, and congratulates her on claiming a place as Kurogh’s Queen.

It is in him that she now and then confides her mistrust of Malefor, and he is unable to do anything but scoff at her suspicions, despite his own sinking feeling that Malefor will turn against them. Under Ruxandara’s control, he can do nothing but wave off her fears, and tell her she is ‘being silly,’ though she is doing anything but.

After he flees the punishment from her he knows he deserves, Asiirha watches her now and then through Shadow Scrying, and desperately loathes himself for how deeply he has wounded Kurosia’s Last Queen.

~~~~
Asiirha has been around for a looong time now. Originally, he was either my idea for Malefor’s dad or Cynder’s. It wasn’t until weirdiehyenas (aka weirdlanders ) came up with her Kurosian Lore that he really got a lot of depth.
But it wasn’t until I gave him a Skylanders counterpart that his Legend of Spyro story was given even MORE depth and life.
Up and out. Up and up and up, and out out out.
She whirled and tumbled, seeking out the Mistress. Her original intent quickly forgotten, like the flicking of a silvery wibbly-squibbly fish tail under water, and so she wandered beyond the walls, beyond the veil. Wherever her tether pulled her, she floated, not needing wings like the others did. No, she was not bound by gravity, unless she willed it, and willed it she did, to plummet aimlessly.
A fear from when she had not been a cosmic being tapped in her chest, claws raking, teeth biting at her ribs, and she curled tightly before launching herself up again, leaving off her gravitational pull, to zip and swerve upwards and follow the tether. Follow the trail, follow the scent of the dragons, the Skylanders.
The Skylanders? Oh how marvelous! A show! And if she was lucky, one of the sad fops would die at The Mistress’s claws, and it would be dinner AND a show! Using the ethereal fog that made up her lower body, she fashioned a chair of sorts, floating above the island that served as a battle ground.
Mother against child, child against foe and friends, friends who forgot they were foes. Old faces, faces she knew when she sank in through The Little Mistress’s skull to her dreams, such tortured and delicious dreams! Poor lass, poor Little Mistress! The Mistress screamed and railed, outraged at some betrayal. It did not matter, but the djinn leaned forward in her chair to listen more closely….
The world exploded into color, pain an instant on its heels, and she went tumbling again. Soaring, then falling, then caught, and pain in repetition, until her claws latched onto a face and raked down. She was released, and fell against the ground.
“Only cowards watch a battle,” a voice said, thick with a strange accent that was familiar and alien to her. The cosmic being lifted her head, and rose to her full height, the tips of her ears and her crown of horns easily towering over the pale spit of a Skylander. She opened her muzzle to speak, but out came sound instead of words, a winded grunt as her gut was jabbed by a fist, clad in thickened leather and tipped with a metal plate.
Claws scrabbled to grab into something, the arm to render it useless, to rip it off, but her claws plunged through smoke, and her entire body went cold. With confusion mounting, she shifted out of a physical form, and her opponent fell through her as if he’d been leaning on air. Twisted, and pounced, and began to slam her paws into the back of his head, feeling bone crack, but then she was flying again, and it was her turn to be pummeled.
“Only a coward attacks from behind!” the brawler shouted in between strikes, and she attempted to defend herself. Finally, one of the gloved hands slammed down on her throat, and began to press. “If you are not with us, you are against us. You will die for this, traitor!”
Can I die? Is it possible for me to die anymore? Or am I beyond that point, now? Stars I wish I knew…. Black spotting her vision faded in an instant, as she realized she’d just been thinking. Thinking. THINKING?!
With a roar that shook the earth, she flipped them both, until he was on his back and she was coiled around him, a great snake that crushed at his bones, until he screamed. How dare he, after all this time! Millenia had passed, she had not thought in entire MILLENNIA, and only now, when she had sworn loyalty to The Mistress and her cause, did he bother to appear. She hadn’t even known she could think again, but knew that HE was the cause of it. He was the balm, the start of the cure…and he stood against her. How dare he exist?!
“Djinn!!” The Little Mistress’s voice rang out, cutting through the ringing in her ears. The red began to fade from her vision, and she lifted her head. “Djinn…you….you’re here?”
“I followed the tether, Little Mistress.”
“But…Mother didn’t say she wanted you involved?”
“Mistress and Little Mistress control what I grant with my powers, but I control whither and where it is I choose to be. My tether pulled me here. To kill this.”
“What’s thi….oh Eon! Night Shift!”
The entity looked down from the point she’d been staring, finding her victim mostly healed. There was a spot where his lip had been split, but other than that, he was fine…winded, and probably weakened from the healing, but whole. She grabbed him by his cravat, hauled him up as Little Mistress approached. She heard the Queen’s girl stop, and out of the corner of her eyes saw the young dragon open her wings to keep the other Skylanders at bay.
“Is he an ally to you, Little Mistress?”
“Well, yes, of course!”
“You are his friend, Little Mistress?”
“I-I…yeah, or, I was. Not anymore n-now that Mother took me i—”
“You needn’t explain your shift in loyalties, Little Mistress,” the djinn interrupted. “Mortal politics are a mystery, but Kurosian customs are not so mysterious to me.”
“I’m…I’m sorry, Djinn…I know you are still loyal to my mother.”
“I am loyal to whomever holds my lamp in their possession, Little Mistress.”
A pause. Hm. Perhaps this wasn’t the best time to mention that. She growled, eyes beginning to glow again, as she thought once more. She tightened her grip on the vampire’s cravat, as he bared his teeth at her, clearly still unable to do much but display.
“Shall I end him, Little Mistress? Do you wish him to stay alive?”
“D-don’t kill him, Djinn. Let him go. That’s what I want.”
“As you say.” Without a second glance, she released her foe, heard him drop. She turned to the Lost Queen’s daughter, and bowed her head. “I will not kill him now, nor attempt to in the future, Little Mistress. You would be wise to avoid The Mistress’s ire. I fear I shall not meet you again.”
“I’m so sorry, Djinn…but…can’t you stay?”
“No, I cannot. The Mistress calls to me.”
As she left, they both knew it was a lie. But The Skylanders did not make to go after her, and along the way, she felt the sanity snap off.
Back and back again, down the rabbit hole, into the prison, into her haven, her heart and her hell…where she hid away for years, until a passing of the lamps occurred, once, and once again.
“So,” she said, on seeing who the new Master was. “It would seem Little Mistress is now The Master, nnh?”
“Yes,” Cynder replied, sighing out a breath of relief. “But please…don’t call me Master. Call me by my name.”
“A name you do not deserve, so says The Mistress in her sleep.”
“I…I know I don’t deserve it….but, call me that anyway.”
“If this is your will.”
“It is.”
“So then it will be.”
And so began her trip down another rabbit path, surrounded by these adorable mice, to overthrow The Mistress and The Emperor, once and for all.
Character Name : Majidah
Nicknames: “Koof,” “Djinn”
Gender : Female
Age : Unknown, multiple centuries old
Species : Cosmic Genie
Relationships : N/A
Children : N/A
Role: Right Hand Servant to The Lost Queen
Nationality : Unknown. Hints that she has been part of Skylands before it was formed.
Homeworld : Unknown.
Element : Magic. Depending on the holder of her lamp, she either leans heavily towards Light, or Dark Magic. Currently leans very much towards Dark.
Physical Description :
Natural Form : An upright being, with no body to speak of from the waist down. Usually this is a cloudy tail that sprouts from the tip of her lamp. She sports features somewhere between a feline and a canine, and striking black and white markings. Always seen wearing golden cuffs, two golden earrings, and a thick black collar, from which hangs either a tag with the Draconic Royalty Seal on it, or her lamp.
Personality : Completely insane. Has lapses of forgetfulness, insane, violent rage, and just when you think she’s going to kill everyone her power can reach (which is quite a lot), she’s all sunshine and daisies. She is so old that she’s lost her moral code, and has no concept for what is right or wrong, save for what her current Master tells her. She can never go against an order, or not grant a wish, though she does not hide her hatred for some of her Masters. She does, however, hold her current Master, The Lost Queen, in very high regard, and has never shown any violence towards her, and acts as friendly as a completely insane genie can towards the Queen of the Kuros. She shows a great deal of respect to Havok, and even to Cynder, though after the latter’s betrayal to The Lost Queen, doesn’t bother to hide her distaste for the act.
Backstory: Millennia upon millennia ago, a soul was bound to a lamp. The soul was fused with a piece of the cosmos, and thus, Majidah was remade. Eternally cursed to bend to the will of each new Master, she hopped from world to world, galaxy to galaxy, slowly forgetting everything about herself, until all that remained was the blunt knowledge that she held the capability to destroy the entire universe, but was too insane to do so.
Only recently has this creature been seen again, in the possession of The Lost Queen, and to a lesser extent, Kaos. She goes by the moniker of ‘Koof,’ claiming her ‘real name is far too complex to be uttered ‘pon mortal tongue.’ A master of Magic, her true potential has yet to be tapped into, as the ‘Emperor’ and Queen have yet to decide how to use her to their best advantage.
Truth be told, Majidah couldn’t care who she works for. Her very essence is bound to her lamp, and she’s just along for the ride as she switches from ‘master’ to ‘master.’ She can come off as sarcastic and harsh, though she does not wish any sort of harm on any creature. But if one were to end up on her bad side…it would not be pretty.
Majidah and The Lost Queen: It is unknown how The Queen came upon Majidah’s lamp, just that one day it wasn’t in her possession, and the next, it was. Being no fool and an entirely cunning creature, The Queen keeps the genie’s lamp, and summons her forth. Their first meeting is awkward, to say the least; it has been five hundred years since Majidah has spoken to anyone, besides herself, and she has forgotten any current tongue. It takes some days, but eventually, she gets a sound out that seems close to The Queen’s tongue: ‘Koof.’ So, aside from calling her Djinn, The Queen calls her new servant Koof, who takes to it warmly.
She is there before the tentative forays into a relationship starts between The Mistress and Kaos, self proclaimed Emperor of Evil. Majidah does not understand this strange relationship, but encourages it early on, knowing the twisted and black heart of The Mistress and what it yearns for. This results in a playful back-and-forth between the two, strengthening the bond until they trust one another wholly. While Majidah has no interest either way who wins the End Battle, The Mistress’s alignment is hers, so to all intents and purposes, she happily serves the villainous side of things.
Their trust is so great that The Mistress allows her Djinn to venture where she pleases, though she does not often stray too far. Once Havok, the child of The Mistress and Kaos is born, The Queen makes it clear that Majidah is to watch out for him. He has many enemies from the moment he is born, and though the gargoyles are powerful, they do not have the power of the cosmos on their side. Out of her loyalty to her, and to keep her next Master alive, she wholly accepts this role. Though she does make life hard on Havok from time to time, teasing the boy and terrorizing him with the lewd details of his parents’ ‘alone time.’
Majidah and Havok: As it were, ‘Koof’ or ‘Djinn’ was there from Havok’s conception to his birth, and remained until he was a young adult. She has never raised a child, never been bound to one, but he brings out a more maternal side in her, and despite her insanity, learns to care for the boy like a mother would. Havok, like his mother, sees her usefulness, and her loyalty to his people, and respects her as well as one aligned to the darkness can.
Despite caring for him, a hiccup in her memory and a changing of Masters leaves Djinn with a sudden, deep hatred for Havok when he acquires her once more. She grants his wishes, to be sure, but forgets the time between him losing her to the Skylanders, the time she is taken back by him, and why she hates him so. This leads to some conflict between the two, though she never threatens him with violence, nor any of his own, despite an intense desire to.
Majidah and Cynder: Self awareness comes to Koof when Cynder returns to her mother’s side. As with Havok, she is instructed to protect The Queen’s daughter, and takes to calling her ‘The Little Mistress.’ Unlike her relationship with Havok, that between Cynder and Majidah never goes beyond that of master-and-servant.
When Cynder betrays The Lost Queen and Kaos to Eon and his Skylanders, Koof does not bother to hide her distaste for this. But it does not stick for long, as the genie understands Kuros have lost their sense of honor, and so she tells it when Cynder steals her lamp from Havok. Despite her strong loyalty to The Lost Queen, Koof is bound to grant Cynder’s whims, though she will often resort to using ‘the genie clause’ when she does so: she grants the wish, but usually with dire, twisted consequences, if the wishes are not specific enough.
Trivia:
  • Majidah cannot think coherently, but her actions always seem sane and very carefully measured. Some affect her mind to think in a more sane way, but the only one so far is The Mistress herself….and one Skylander.
  • She will often break the fourth wall, quoting media, disrupting the flow of time, etc., whenever she feels like it. She claims she was born out of a love for Disney’s Aladdin, more specifically, the character Genie.
  • When summoned, Koof appears instantly at her Master’s side. The Tether, as she calls it, will always pull her back to her lamp, and she can only stray so far from it, but when her Master has need of her, no matter the distance, she will come to them.
  • Majidah has no choice but to grant the wishes of her Master, even if it means hurting others, which she does not relish. That being said, she can be extremely violent, though only when truly angered.
Lost Queen : Everyone, this is my Djinn Koof. Treat her warmly, or fear her, your choice ❤ or your mistake, ehehehehe.
Name : Pearl
Species : Octogon, Octopus/sea dragon
Gender : Female
Element : Water
Role : Skylander
Homeworld : The Docks by the Sea
Background
Biography : Wash Buckler found himself growing lonely as the years wore on, and he had yet found himself a partner. All of the other Skylanders had already started their families, all but Wash. He did have feelings for a certain woman, but the odds of them being together was impossible. So, finally fed up with being alone, Wash Buckler led his crew on a journey to find Poseidon. It was a difficult adventure, but he eventually made his way into the sea’s depths and stood before the angry god of the sea. Impressed by his bravery and skill, as well as his devotion to the sea, Poseidon granted Wash Buckler’s wish and gave him a small, blue egg. Wash Buckler was confused, as he had asked for a woman to brighten his life, but trusted Poseidon’s gift and left with the egg.
A few months passed when the egg hatched, revealing an octopus like sea dragon. Wash Buckler was overjoyed, and has since raised his daughter among the roughness of pirates and the seas alike.
Personality : Pearl is a rough and tough daughter of a pirate, and adventurous to boot! She knows the in and outs of a ship, and can be seen swinging from the sails. She never shows fear, and is often the first to offer to help others on tough adventures. She’s spunky and wild, sometimes even abrasively so, but she tries to get along with everybody. Pearl hates evil with a passion, as most Skylanders do! Pearl one day dreams to beat the stereotype that woman can’t be captains on a pirate ship by having her own ship, just like Wash Buckler.
Appearance : Pearl is a mix of an octopus and a sea dragon. She has tentacle like hair and three large tentacles for tails. While some think she has wings, they’re actually just fins that she uses to aide her speed on both land and sea. She can seem a bit awkward on land, having a bit of a waddle to her step, but in the water she’s graceful. Pearl’s legs are slightly deformed, as they are far smaller than legs should be. She often covers them up with her tentacles, and tucks them away while swimming. Pearl also has no teeth but can have a nasty bite if she uses her steam water attack!
Attacks : Pearl is fast and slippery, often using her fins to help her dodge attacks. Her toes excrete ink, and she can breathe a jet of steaming water and bubbles as well. The most lethal attack of hers, however, is the three swords she wields with her tails. Growing up, Pearl trained with many of the other Skylanders to hone her swordsmanship, including Wash Buckler and Chop Chop.
————————————————————————-
I’ve debated posting this character for a while now, but here she is! When Wash Buckler was first revealed, I instantly loved him! It was the Skylander equivalent of Davy Jones from Pirates xD I had almost changed the Queen’s shipping to be with Wash, but kept her with Kaos mostly because in the Skylander universe, she’s meant to be evil, unlike her Legend of Spyro counterpart. Being with Wash would make her good, and that’s a no no. Still didn’t stop me from making a ‘what if’ baby! I ended up really liking the design, so I made a more believable story for her and made her canon 🙂 Nooo, she’s not still the Queen’s daughter, but she may have some influence 😉 Poseidon could have been aware of a certain crush of Wash’s, muwahahahaha!
Also a BIG thank you to Liz for helping me out on her color scheme!
The entity came whispering from her prison, her grave, her home and her heart, taking on that too-familiar shape. Too, too, too familiar, always the same and never consistent! From the table beside his throne she filtered through, a mere mist, swirling round and around his crown of horns, hissing and giggling with insane glee.
“I see His Majesty is pleased! Pleased as punch, as one might say.”
The draconic hybrid lifted a brow ridge, saying nothing. His wings twitched as her essence skittered across the back, feeling and unfeeling the leathery membrane and the muscles and the bones, and feeling his excitement and pride like it were her own. No, she was not his mother, but she had been there for the hatching, she had been there for the birthing, and some days, her mind could call him a child of her own, while also cursing his very existence.
“Aaaah yes, M’Lord, yes, yesss!” she hiss-crooned, swirling up to hang off one of his ears. Invisible to all but him, as she chose it. Or perhaps she did not exist? Perhaps she was a figment of his imagination, bound to that damn prison…? “Your kingdom…your throne…your title…all of it yours, you greedy little bastard! You wonderful ruler, you!”
“Yes,” he said, deep voice reverberating off the walls of the empty throne room. Empty save for the hundreds of gargoyles watching, those stone beasts, pebbly beauties… The King’s shoulders tilted forward some. “All of it mine.”
“King of all he sees,” the cosmic beast rasped, curling into the locks of his mane. “All his eyes clap ‘pon! Tell me, child, tell me, monster to rule them all…what do you see?”
The sound of the wind sighing in relief, of fabric rustling settled over the room. Havok leaned his body forward as he opened his wings to their full spread, and his muzzle turned up into the deliciously-wicked grin he had inherited from his sire and his dam. He drummed the fingers of one hand along the knuckles of the other, claws tick-tick-ticking against the scales….
“I see this world, and all others,” Havok rumbled, fangs glinting like pearls in the other-worldly light of his eyes. “And I wish to see them burning.”
With a delighted cackle, the djinn allowed her prison to take her back in, as her power surged in a blinding flash of teal, becoming one with his own.
"Your wish is my command, child.”
The finished version of weirdhyenas’ commission! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY WHAT AN EVIL BASTARD.
This was such a treat to work on. Havok is one of my favorite characters created by weirdiehyenas, his design speaks to me on a deep and personal level. The genie featured in the story above is actually the Skylanders version of Koof, a cosmic beast trapped for all eternity in her lamp. Which is why her mind is so crazy and the writing is so all over the place.
OH KOOFIN, BABY, YOU SO CRAZYYYYY~
Devine Havok doodles! FINALLY got around to drawing the rest of his body. His wings aren’t included because they’re freakn’ huge and would cover up so much. There will be other angles of him tho, once I get out of this strange art-block mood thing. I should probably lay down the lore of Devine Havok a bit >:D
This form of Havok only exists in the ‘bad future’ that Spyro must venture to in order to bring Kaos back to the present. He had kicked Kaos into a time portal, which had left Havok without a father as he grew. In the bad future, Havok has turned out almost insane; destroying most of skylands, killing most of the Skylanders only leaving a handful who are leading a rebellion, enslaved most of Skyland’s inhabitance to rebuild the fallen city of Kurosia, and dubbing himself king of all lands. He had done so due to his loyalty to the Kurosian Gods, who, after Havok proved himself, gave him a Devine form. Havok adapted the God of Revenge’s form, which took on his metal tail. This form could only be acquired when the Gods saw fit, but when he was in this form, he was indestructible. Giving him the ability to take down the Skylanders.
