Hey Mun, how would you react if the Skylanders people asked for your permission to put the Kuros and their lore, city, etc.. Into Skylanders? If that ever happened I would totally buy that game!

OOC : Oh jeebles, I honestly don’t even know. I think just knowing they were even aware of me I’d probably poo my pants and hide in a pile of blankets x,D

Realistically, while it would be hella cool, I’d probably decline. I wouldn’t be able to make the Kuros as serious and dark as they really are, they’d have to be more light-hearted for the kiddies and while that kinda happens for Weirdlanders, I wouldn’t want to really dumb the Kuros down for that TOO much. Skylanders sometimes has a darker tone to it that I like (Superchargers impressed me, but again they can’t get too serious or dark because of the target demographic), but the Kuros have some heavy stuff to ‘em.

However, if they so did as do a little nod toward the Kuros, or even Weirdlanders at all, you all would be able to hear a faint high pitched scream in the air, no matter where you were in the world. I still squeal like a fangirl whenever I see this video!

Would you be opposed to someone wanting to use those knots as a tattoo design? If you are that’s fine, I was just wondering, since I’ve been looking for an ouroborus design for a while.

OOC : I suppose I wouldn’t mind, but I think there’d be far better designs out there than the wee doodle I did x,D

shithowdy:

there is something so incomprehensibly flattering about getting asks about your OCs. Like— someone, somewhere, somehow was so interested in this person you made up that they took a whole minute out of their day to inquire about some random, mundane aspect of their life and that’s beautiful to me

OOC : This still blows me away that anyone would be remotely interested in my brainfarts, thank ALL of you ❤

OOC : Two of the more hand-drawn knots from the Bound by Blood and Fate pieces I did! All of the knots drawn for those were done by hand, but again traced as they were just banners. These two had more notable variants to the sources.

The top one is an Uka drawn in the style similar to how dogs/wolves were portrayed in celtic artwork. Since Uka were such enemies of the Kuros, I imagine them being used in a lot of the artwork.

Kurogh’s is based off of the snake eating itself to signify his eternal hunger for recognition, greatness and power.

After drawing these, I’m even more determined to get the hang of Celtic knots! They’re stunning and beautiful, but I am NOT one for symmetry so it’s incredibly difficult for me to draw them. But I’m getting more determined to practice and get them down, cuz DAMN they’re fun and pretty!
