I feel pretty bad for Kurogh. While I’m very much aware that he is an ass, I think the thing he wanted most was for his father to notice him. I can sympathize, as my father and I have a close relationship, and if my father rejected me I would be crushed. While the things Kurogh did were less then good, I feel like he faced a lot of disappointment and anger in his early years, thus making him the way he is currently. Kurogh is not a good person, no, but Maeldun wasn’t exactly a saint either.

OOC : There is the possibility to sympathize with him, seeing as he did just want his father’s approval and to feel significant amongst a very, very large family. However at the core, Kurogh was born selfish and arrogant, having a neglectful father just didn’t help, and eventually was the thing that brought the downfall of Kurosia.

Becoming King and having a Seuth for a son still didn’t satisfy Kurogh’s need to feel important. He never got his father’s approval, yet when Malefor came and ‘approved’ of him, that was where Kurogh lost himself in blind joy. Malefor was worshipped as a God among the Kuros, and Malefor strung Kurogh along thinking he favored him. Father figure + a God? Bonus for Kurogh x,D It’s what made him so easily toss aside Voteil, which if you look at it, he did the same thing his own father did to him. Maeldun sure helped make the worst Kuros there was x,D

Oh my gooooooood, makes me soooo happy that you liked my idea of any species being able to participates in gladiatorial fights! Thanks mun!! I was actually listening to Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire, and listening to the lyrics, I couldn’t help but think: “Wow, this song relates extremal well to the Fall of Kursonia.” It’s now my head-cannon that this song play’s in the background during the Fall. Sorry not sorry.

OOC : aaaw it was a great idea! Thank YOU for sharing!

Oh man, I actually have a song in mind for when Feur returns from attempting with the skylanders to find her city aflame, and one day I’d LOVE to do an animatic of it. The song’s called “Hurt” by Thomas Bergersen.

to kaos.. the darkness mention ur mother one point. Does this mean there maybe something connection between the two?… possibly old friend or lover ??

OOC : I’ll answer this, actually! Since I have no solid plot ideas for Superchargers >3< I’m not 100% certain, that was my very first thought that the Darkness was Kaos’ father, but after some time I figure that it may just be a nod to Swap Force, which was the other Skylanders game Vicarious Visions made (they also made Superchargers). If they were alluding that he was his father, I think they would have dropped more hints, though I wouldn’t look past it completely. That or yeah, they could have been lovers or friends 8D

Another thing that made me think he was Kaos’ papi was the clear dad-stache they gave the Darkness x,D My thoughts on what MIGHT be the plot for Weirdlanders Superchargers can be found here.

For Weirdlanders, though, Kaos has a neglectful, human father that favors Kaos’ older brothers more than him. I don’t plan on involving him, I just loved the original backstory for Kaos as I felt that added more to his character than his new one does x,D
