Lost Queen : I have so many memories of Kurosia before The Fall. Many, many nights spent at my favorite local pub with Kruta and Raigur’ja. It was a weekly thing for years upon years, yet… it never got old. Kruta would always bring his studies with him, Raigur would come for the food. We’d swap stories about our week, and Raigur would boast about what he did among the Silverwings, much to Kruta’s annoyance.

Ahaha, Raigur would always, without fail, try to wean me into studying to be a Silverwing instead. He didn’t doubt my abilities, instead that’s what brought him to me. Every night we’d have our hangout the two would squabble about it, Kruta insistent that my education was far more important than muscling my way to the top.

Despite this, there was always that time of the night where we’d just laugh, sing our favorite songs, embarrass each other…I miss it. But I know those days are long, long gone. All I can do now is look back at these memories with a smile, celebrate the life those two had, and appreciate the experiences they gave me. We all have to look toward the future, even if it seems bleak, and appreciate what’s around us in the now.

OOC : Happy new year everybooty! Here’s to a new, better year for everyone ❤

Light Dragons being born from a Light Yehkshir could be cool, and then genetically they could be another Kuros breed, but they’re so far removed from other Kuros that they developed their own culture.

OOC : It’s a very tempting idea, I’m still not too sure which I’ll go with. It’s been a thing I’ve sat on for almost a year but I keep getting distracted with other plot points I gotta figure out.

I don’t know if this’ll do anything for you, but I don’t think you need to explicitly avoid making the light dragons “monster-like”. Even if they do mirror the Kuros, there’s a lot of room for moral grayness, and the opposite of something “bad” isn’t necessarily something good. Personally I find it interesting when people buck the light = good / dark = bad trope, but maybe that’s just me ¯_(ツ)_/¯

OOC : I get what ya mean, and I think that’s what I’m going to try my best to go for. I just noticed that that is a trend in a lot of my stories and has been ever since I started giving my characters stories, as I grew up in a rather broken and somewhat dysfunctional family. The people I was suppost to trust and love turned against me when it benefited them, and while most of my family does love and accept me for who I am, it’s left me with some mental scars I still struggle to fight against.

That really shows in how I write my characters and stories, like I feel a personal distrust of things that are meant to be the good guys, but really they’re far more corrupt than those that openly admit it. I don’t want to do that to the Light Dragons, I want them to be the true good guys, and I agree with the moral grayness. Whats good to some may seem monstrous to others, I really would like to write the Light Dragons with very similar morals to the Kuros when it comes to keeping the balance of a chaotic universe. I’d rather them NOT end up like Warfang x,D

What would Feuriah be like if she was the opposite of who she is currently? Like the opposite of personality, etc.

OOC : Feuriah’s Dawn Feur, I think. The two Feuriahs are actually VERY different, at least until FD/FR Feur makes it to Kurosia. FD Feur is incredibly sweet, warm, loving, and accepting. While those traits are naturally in WL Feur, they’ve been beaten down and selective due to her childhood experiences and how she decided to handle them. WL Feuriah is way more grudge heavy while FD/FR Feuriah is the total opposite and is very forgiving.

What if you modeled the light dragons off Spotlight? Or based them 100% off of the Kuros, breeds, culture, even their own Yehkshir, only white. So really them and the Kuros are two sides to one race. Almost identical twin races that both fight for balance.

OOC : I think Spotlight’s design could be an influence, but like I said, I kinda do want them to be able to stand on their own outside the LoS/Skylanders lore. If I can find designs that don’t just scream SPOTLIGHT, then I’ll be a happy panda. I do have ideas, but they’ll be something I’ll doodle in time.

I also kind of want them to be their own culture, since I’m liking the idea of them not settling down on land but rather staying in the heavenly Veil dimension thing. The link between them will be there, wether the head Goddess is Mahoura’s sister or daughter I’m not sure yet. But great ideas yo!

There’s no real number to how many females Athrenna had in her harem, but there were a lot x,D Despite the great number, Athrenna was very picky about her women. Physical appearance wasn’t what she looked for in her choices. You can see all these females in this comic!

Name : Eachna
Breed : Brokt
Element : Earth
Role : Architectural engineer
Personality : Blunt and honest, but incredibly smart with her line of work. Eachna was one of the highest renounced architects in Kurosia. She was also known for her ability to headbutt walls and knock them down with little to no damage to herself.

Name : Muirgheal
Breed : Shire
Element : Water
Role : Marine Biologist / Trainer
Personality : Snarky and sarcastic, but when her trust is earned she’s a total sweetheart. Muir was a respected biologist for her discoveries of deep sea creatures, and training them to fight alongside the Kurosian warriors.

Name : Surkha
Breed : Shire
Element : Fear
Role : Weapon Engineer
Personality : Quiet but dangerous. Surkha is responsible for many bombs and weapons used by Kuros that implement the fear element.

Name : Vevinna
Breed : Fiosioc
Element : Fire
Role : Warlord
Personality : Strong personality but sweet, Vevinna made a name for herself by becoming a brilliant warlord. She was one of the females closest to Athrenna.
(( Character belongs to @askgrimcreeper / @lizzydizzydoodle ))

Name : Niamh
Breed : Allus
Element : Fire
Role : Fire Element Historian
Personality : Shy and reserved, but incredibly resourceful. Her vast knowledge is admired by the Fire Temple, but she is also known for helping fund countless orphanages and elementary schools all around Kurosia.

Name : Adane
Breed : Allus
Element : Air
Role : Silverwing
Personality : Quick to anger and hard to please, Adane was one of the handful chosen to be a Silverwing. Her element is air, but she was known for blasting her foes with waves of scalding air blasts that could melt.

Thought Fart #6

I thought this would be fun to share, as it came up in the livestream yesterday x,D

Havok has little to no shame. His self confidence is through the roof, he knows he’s awesome and if anyone tells him otherwise, he laughs. Paint his nails pink, he’ll show them off with pride. He’ll breakdance and sing his heart out to Backstreet Boys on his own, in public, during raids, he doesn’t care. He’ll get upset if you insult his family, like his father, but it comes from the pride he feels from being a part of that family. To insult his family, to Havok, means he has to defend his family honor and will go to any length to uphold that.

If Viril hadn’t been so prominent in his life, I don’t think Havok would be so open to things. In the AUs where Viril isn’t there, Havok’s actually a huge asshat, confident, but more blindly proud like Kaos used to be. Viril’s brotherhood was something Havok definitely needed to turn into the lovable shitsneeze he is in canon ❤

Be kind to yourself in the year ahead.

Remember to forgive yourself, and to forgive others. It’s too easy to be outraged these days, so much harder to change things, to reach out, to understand.

Try to make your time matter: minutes and hours and days and weeks can blow away like dead leaves, with nothing to show but time you spent not quite ever doing things, or time you spent waiting to begin.

Meet new people and talk to them. Make new things and show them to people who might enjoy them.

Hug too much. Smile too much. And, when you can, love.

This is from Last Year. It’s the one that doesn’t get passed around as much.
